  • Reduce bolt rounding: The reinforced open end holds on tight to fasteners for reduced bolt rounding.

Description

Is It Possible For A Wrench Built For Tight Spaces To Be Agile And Fast In Any Situation? Faster In Tight Spaces Than Our Standard Wrench Our extra precise ratcheting wrench is faster to use in tight spaces than a standard wrench, because it allows you to have continuous engaged with the bolt while you tighten it. Reseating bolts in tight, dark spaces kills your productivity. In our tests, we have seen huge speed improvements in tight spaces over our standard wrench. We couldn't be happier! Prevent Stripping Bolts! Another downside of reseating bolts over and over, is it can round out and destroy the bolt head. Once the bolt head has been rounded and you aren't finished, your project goes on hold until you can fix or replace the bolt. This can take hours! Additionally, our contact points are designed to quickly grip critical areas of the fastener to support maximum force transfer while preventing rounding. Our Strongest Steel Ever! To make our drop forged tool even stronger, we added the best strengthening agent for steel: vanadium! And if you want numbers, our hardened steel is 67% percent stronger than other steels. Our TightSpot Wrench is Perfect For: - Electricians - Technicians - Home Projects - Lawn Care Equipment Dare To Compare! Go ahead and compare the Jaeger Tools ratcheting wrench to any other on the market. Once their wrench bruises your knuckles or wear out quickly, feel free to come back and use the Jaeger Tools ratcheting wrench. However, your knuckles would prefer it if you'd be kind and order a safe, durable and comfortable ratcheting wrench now.

  • Great wrenches, no issues
There is minimal ripping and tearing from stamping process at factory. Chrome finish is usually quite thick on import tools to cover minor manufacturing defects from worn tooling, so finish is usually never an issue, just what may be underneath. They work smoothly without any issues so far. Cant beat the value for cost. ... show more

  • High Quality and affordability
I love these wrenches. I have had the same set before, but a couple of months ago my house caught fire and lost all my tools and much more. But when it was time to buy new tools I knew what ratchet wrenches I wanted. I have had many other brands and these held up to everything I put them through. I recommend anyone wanting a quality tool at an affordable price Jaeger wrenches are worth it. ... show more

  • Excellent value for the price.
This review is being submitted after only brief experience using the wrenches, but wanted to get it submitted before I forget. The wrenches are nicely finished in a highly polished chrome. The ratcheting mechanisms ratchet smoothly & as best as I can determine (measure) do lock-in at the 5 degree increments claimed. The size accuracy seems true among both the SAE and Metric sizes (I bought both). I pulled out some available nuts & bolts out of my collection to test and those SAE/Metric sizes that that should have noticeable differences (1/2” & 13mm) had the expected differences; while those that should be almost the same (3/4” & 19mm) checked very close to each other. Handle shape is a very nice flat rectangle cross section with the corners only slightly rounded. I would have preferred the corners more rounded, but someone else, maybe not. I chose not to try to evaluate their claim that they are 67% stronger than regularly available ratcheting wrenches. Since this review is based on limited use I really can’t comment on durability except to say that none of mine broke on first use (I know, that’s not saying much, sorry). I liked them & thought both the SAE & Metric sets were an excellent value for what I paid. I did like the included carrying case w/ built-in carrying handle. ... show more

So far, there have been no issues. If anything comes up, I'm confident that Jaeger will take care of it.

  • Great price for better than average ratchet wrenches
Built hefty and slim for tight areas, removed coil nuts easily and and performed outstanding. Ratchet functioned flawlessly and sturdy, how long will they lasts, I'm not going out of my way to destroy these wrenches. Only time and work will tell.

  • Bottom line is these are PERFECT
Trust me as a 35 year ASE Journeyman Master Automotive Technician/Mechanic. This is a steal for the price; but you all need to understand how to use your tools. These are ratchet wrench that have small gears in them. They will not withstand a lot of torque put on them or your strip the small gears in them. The are designed to get the job done faster. If you have a seized bolt(s) or nut(s) you need to first use a standard wrench or socket on a ratchet first to break them loose. Then you use these Ratchet Wrenches to finish the job quickly. This is what they were designed to do. If you put too much breaking torque on them, they will fail. You will with no doubt strip the small gears in them. They were never designed to be put up against massive torque. If you don't understand what I am saying, than do some research when it comes to the laws of Physics. Most people won't do what I am telling them and later on give negative reviews because they don't want to be educated at all. These wrenches will never break on you at all if you take care of them and use them as they were designed to be used for. Don't forget to lubricate them with the best called WD-40 so they don't deteriorate due to the elements of nature. They will out your live 3 times over. These are high quality so take care of them and don'rt abuse them. Break loose all your stubborn nuts and bolts first with non geared wrenches. The reality here is don't force it or you'll break it. These ratchet wrenches are designed to speed up the job you are doing to save you a lot of time. They were never designed to break loose stubborn nuts and bolts. ... show more
