The tire shop wrenches feature a rugged Tire tread rubber cover on the head intended to specifically be used for checking wheel lug nuts and are available in 3/8" And 1/2" Drives. The electronic torque wrenches ensure a more precise fastener torque Level and are available in a 3/8" And 1/2" Drives. For the price it's amazing! Works really well and feels pretty solid. One thing I don't like is the torque value setting. You have to press the set button then it goes up in .20 increments and beeps for every one of them. You can hold the button to change it but when you do that it starts slow then just shoots through the numbers. It will take some time to adjust to that. Once you finally reach your value hit the set button again. Now you're ready to torque some bolts. The increment adjustment and all the beeping while pushing the buttons is my only dislike. Save a ton of money compared to the tool trucks if you don't mind beeping and the way you have to go through so many increments. ... show more

As a mechanic of 20 years my tools are very important. This torque wrench is incredibly durable and comes in a nice molded plastic case. This torque wrench is very simple to use and is accurately calibrated compared to other torque wrenches I own. The handle is very comfortable and its narrow swing makes it great for tight spaces. The torque wrench is powered by AA batteries so there’s no need to charge it. If it runs dead, just replace the batteries. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I bought this product specifically because it was able to be adjust at lower torque specifications. I would say the instructions it comes with aren’t the best, but it’s fairly intuitive. When you input a torque specification, it stays in the memory and loads to that last setting. This is important because the unit auto shuts off after a a minute or two of inactivity. It has lights, sounds, and vibration feedback as you approach your specified setting, so it’s pretty simple to use. I was a big fan of these features. I really hate this torque wrench. It's my first digital torque wrench, so I have no idea how much of this is related to this one in particular or most of them. The worst part about it is that it's absolutely impossible to set. If you hold down the up or down button to set it, it clicks at a stupid slow speed and then, without warning, switches to a stupid fast speed. So if you're trying to go from 80 ft-lbs to 100, it takes about 5 seconds to get up to 85 ft-lbs, then before you realize it, it'll be at 120 ft-lbs. Then when you try to scale it back down it does exactly the same thing. I also find it nearly impossible to train myself to get used to the beeping/vibrating cues. It's dead-simple to use an analog torque wrench, but I seem to constant over or undershoot using this one. Applying steadily increasing torque, it's giving feedback that I'm way under-torque and then next thing I know it's buzzing that I'm over, and I'll have overshot by 30%. Finally, the ball detent that holds sockets on fell out. I've had it for a couple of years now, so it's not under warranty and I can't return it, but I really regret buying it. ... show more
