Before I even finished assembly my cat was allll over this tree. She loves it so much. It’s very soft but the fabric sheds pretty badly. It’s really easy to assemble but the directions say to wear gloves and you probably should unless you’re using a drill or you might hurt your fingers. I also received an extra pompom on a string and I’m not sure where it’s supposed to go but I guess I got a bonus toy! It’s very sturdy as long as you assemble it correctly. It looks exactly like the photos and I’m really happy with it. The box even turns into a cat box with outlined cutouts for it if you choose, but my cat just likes playing with the box as is. ... show more

I ordered this cat tree for some six month old kittens I am caring for and they love it! I assembled it in my living room and my own full grown cats couldn't wait to try it. It is very nice quality. The covering is soft and the scratching portions are sturdy. The whole tree was easy to assemble and even came with the hex tool needed for assembly and a few extra bolts. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. Once assembled, it is very sturdy even before I secured it to the wall with the attached safety strap. My full grown cats are between 9 and 11 pounds and they were able to play on it and fit in the little "condos" just fine. Even the big stray/feral tom cat that I feed daily tried it out and was able to fit in the bigger section. I am very pleased with it and would recommend it. ... show more

I give 5 stars and two thumbs up to this cat tower. Not only was it very easy to put together, it did not take long at all to put it together. It is very sturdy and well made. My cats absolutely love it & even sleep in it!

This is a quality product - it is made of soft material-appealing to my cats (spoiled). The largest cat (Tank) has room to spare in the largest cube - he also makes the smaller cube plus the ledge a bed. It was easy to assemble - the directions are amazingly well written, the pieces are all labeled. the screws are all the same size. The only downsides are the disc which hangs below the first platform -it is too small for my cats to sit on and too large for them to play with - what is it's intended purpose? Also two of the pieces are colored differently from the rest - they are green as opposed to grey. ... show more

My family member has a cat problem. She got one, then thought that one needed a companion. Then she had a friend who asked her to babysit one. One thing after another and she now has 6! Then she just moved into a new apartment and gave the cats one of the rooms. They are home alone for hours and I feel bad for them being locked in a room. I thought they could use more activities and play area. So I ordered this for them. I saw how many different levels, cubbies, platforms it has and thought it could easily accommodate most of them at once. It seems way more fun than others I've seen. It would be nice if they would put it by the window so they would be able to see outside and have even more stimulation during the long days alone. Fun item. ... show more

    • Missing holes, sheds a lot

Pros: My cat jumped into this right away and seems to like it. I did sprinkle catnip all over it (I do it with everything she gets) but she returned to it a couple times so I know it wasn't just the nip. That's a good thing. Cons: The top cubby/platform is missing the hole needed to assemble the last layer, so I'm left with a bunch of pieces that are useless because there's no way to put them on. So there's no top platform which sucks because my plan was to put it right under the ceiling heater vent so she could be all happy and cozy during winter...but that can't happen now. That's a bummer. Also, it sheds a lot while you're putting it together, it's not as dark as pictured, and really would be best for a smaller cat/kitten because where the posts are sort of blocks the entrances. My cat is big. She can maneuver it but I can tell it's not necessarily easy for her. ... show more

They said it would work for a cat up to 17.6 pounds. So I did not pay attention to the size of the top perch which is only about 12 inches. My cat can sit on it but can not lie down comfortably to sleep. I like the material that covers it and the sisel rope for them to scratch is quality. The poles with the rope somewhat cover the openings to the condo although there is enough room for my cat to get inside. He sat on the top once, but as I have his old tree next to it, continues to sit there. It was simple to assemble with all the screws the same except two. I wish the screws were not showing from the top of the platforms. For the price, I was not expecting it to be very sturdy, and feel it does need to be stabilized. The bottom condo is larger than the top one and is a good size for my cat. I do not like that we are told not to use water to clean it. I shampoo his other trees when they get dirty. I ordered the dark grey so it will not look dirty and will brush his hair off each day. I will get a photo of Harvie and the trees I took as soon as I figure out how. I was told it was an unsupported file type when I tried to add the photos. I think this is perfect for kittens or a small cat but not for a 9 pound cat ... show more
