Add almost no appreciable weight to the small gun (Ruger 10-22) I put this on. The silver looks good with the stainless on the gun, black would not have looked right. The base is just a tad long, but that is more a problem with the stock than the bipod. Haven't shot with them yet, but I'll add to the review later. ... show more

Ok it got here quickly. Its really small and lite weight. Most people are thinking larger bipod like in the movies on a .50cal barrett. These are in full close just about palm size. So just make sure you realize this is small folks, just bigger than 3”X5” card folded. The carbon fiber im hopeful will yield nice strength Plus less weight. I have however had carbon fiber tubes crushed before so instead of permanently denting with a nasty drop or bang against something if careless it could possibly end this bipod’s career. However I’ll chance it as I don’t plan on doing either. It also can be placed on a 15”guard were folded can be handgrip and deployed used as intended. It is super lite though and for this build size is perfect. Happy with purchase. ... show more

I thought that this would be a cheap aluminum knock off, considering the price. However, when I received my bipod, I was pleasantly surprised to find out that it truly was a carbon fiber product. This is the second one of these I bought. My first one is on a Remington 700, and this one is going on an Armalite AR10. These bipods are light, easy to mount and stable for long shots.
