This is our second set of these mats. They are easy to store out of the way, being so thin yet very tough and durable. Stands up to sharp knife meat cutting and chopping for several years. We are only replacing them because my wife doesn't like the scratch marks. They never cut through the plastic, just scratched it some after 3 years. Easily washable as well. Stays in place on the counter while using due to the rubbery surface on the bottom. I would say we'll worth the costs. These are sturdy, easy to use and store cutting mats. They have a small grid pattern on the back that helps them hold their stiff but bendable shape. They seem like they will hold up well for years.

these cutting boards come in cool bright colors and what i love about them is that the boards show you what to cut on them ex. the red board is for beef, the orange is cutting up chicken ect. its easy to clean and dry. only thing is i wish they were a little thicker my first few times using them the boards slid a bit on my counter top but other than that i think they are cool starter set. ... show more

These mats are a good value, and are the perfect thickness and rigidity. One of the the best features is the smooth top surface, that is easy to clean, and that permits chopped food to easily slide for transferring into dishes or pans. This is a big advantage over the many other cutting mats that have a textured top surface. The grid pattern on the bottom of the mats is not very non-slip, especially on a damp counter surface. Using a wet paper towel beneath the cutting mat will keep it from sliding, but that is wasteful, and makes for a less than flat cutting surface on the mat (which then has a slight "lump" under it where the towel sits). I hope the manufacturer improves the non-slip design to instead use a patterned embossing on the bottom, since that is much more effective at keeping the mat from sliding around on a counter. ... show more

These cutting mats are sturdy and hold up well, yet they are easy to roll up and slide your veggies or meats into the skillet. I've poked holes in other, thinner mats but I can chop with abandon on these.

I got these to replace my last set of flat sheet cutting boards. The main issue for me is that they slip around on the marble counter more than my other set. The cutting surface seems a bit softer as well. Not sure how durable they will be due to the thinness and the softness of the material. The advantage they have over the other set is that while they still curl in the dishwasher from the heat, they don’t stay curled as much because of their thinness. ... show more
