I had been using a poly board I bought at the dollar store, placed under leather or vinyl I was punching holes in. Well, on these cheapo less-than-a-quarter-inch-thick boards, I managed to punch all the way through them and yesterday actually managed to shatter it. Scary! So I looked at local shops for something sturdier, couldn't find anything. Off to Amazon we go! Found this 1/2" board and thought it would be worth a try. Arrived in less than a day, along with something else I ordered. Picked up the box and thought "what did I order that was so heavy?" Opened the box—oh yes, that cutting board! It was heftier than I had pictured it, which is excellent for a cutting board so that it will stay in place and not shift around as you're using it. And apparently I didn't pay much attention to the listed size (I just bought the cheapest one on the page). This thing is mighty big! 12x18.5"! I don’t expect much for these cutting boards because they were a little over $5 each but man I was wrong. These 1/2 boards are super sturdy and have 0 flex. The quality of the plastic is really good too. I’m using 3 of them in my garage to protect my bench and they are great. I put one in the house to use for food. I purchased 4 in total but will be back to get more. I have an idea on making a 12 X 18 case out of these for a mini pc. This would be a diy and super cheap but since these boards are so thick and sturdy it will eliminate any all noise from the fans. ... show more

The headline says it all: simple, sturdy, and easy to clean. I've chopped all kinds of things on this board. No stains yet from greens like cilantro or peppers (red bell peppers, Thai chilis, etc.) I haven't taken a cleaver to it or anything, but it's had no issues with chef's knives, nakiri knives, or anything else I've used. This WinCo board has held up a lot better than similar Henckels boards I've bought from Costco- those suckers took on color along the slice marks almost immediately. It's a big board- lots of room to chop, dice, and separate ingredients. I'd buy again, and probably will. ... show more

Super Value. Good size, good thickness and seems durable. Purchased this to use as my designated fish filleting board. I like that the thickness of this board is thicker than most you will find at the hardware stores. The added thickness makes it that much easier when filleting fish as it raises your cutting hand the needed distance above the table below. The only thing I did was to drill a small hole at one end of the board in which to hang the board near my cleaning table. Super quality board at a super price. ... show more

This is a good item for a home kitchen It scars easily and slides around on the counter top while using. I drilled a hole through it in order to hang it up to store as it is quite large for a cabinet Very good product that will likely last a long time

... I did not, however buy it to be a cutting board. I needed a piece of white plastic it was very durable and washable as a backer for an RV shower spigot. After walking around home Depot for an hour it occurred to me this is what I needed.

I ordered 3. They are all exactly the same size and have zero warping. Barely fit in our Bosch dishwasher, so if you might want to measure before you order or cut it down (which is not an uncommon practice). Exactly what I was looking for.
