This product does what it says... there was no instruction so I had to follow the pic on the box to install (1 star ded) somehow I notice that the mat has to be pushed a little in order for the rollers to feed it into the machine. Other than that... its ok

Great concept however, my 12x12 mats kept getting caught at the ends and then the expansion would fall out. As it’s not as snugged to latch to the tray. Will most likely return. Going to tray with the 12x24 mat and see.

The extension for the Cricut is awesome. It was easy to assemble, easily hooked on tray, and works wonders supporting the mat! My cutter is on a rolling shelf unit, and just fits, so no support for mats past the tray. This made all the difference! No more holding mat with one hand while using computer mouse with other. Now that I have elevated my Cricut Maker with legs I needed more support for the craft mats. This support device is perfect for holding the mat up. So glad I saw this when I was buying the legs to elevate my Maker. Great product.
