I can loop this around the faucet when not in use because of its light weight, but don’t be fooled - this hose can stand up to any task I’ve given it! Primarily, I use this with my Harbot Freight pressure washer because it has a very handy on/off lever I can use instead of running back and forth to the faucet. First time I used it, hubby and our son scoffed at my “too short” hose. They went away impressed by the expansion capability of my genius find. I needed a nice rough pretty hose for my front garden. It needed to be mailable and easy to work with. This was perfect. Can maneuver nicely store away when finished. Thin but not overly. Easy to bend and pull. Comes with a sprayer which is nice and multiple washers. The only issue I had was some leakage when installing. I used many washers as it didn’t stop it. Not sure if it’s the hose or our spout. The size is correct so I’m unsure. We got it down to a small drip when the water is on. It’s a nice true black. I’m pretty gold tone brass fittings. Feels durable and nice. We have it tucked behind a bush so it’s not laying in the sun but I am unsure if this will heat quick due to the color. It’s a great hose with many functions on the spray. Easy to work with and a great length. I have had it installed for a month now and we will see come summer. We use it very often and that will be the test. Water pressure is great as well. Comes out perfect. Very light weight which is so important as well. Especially in a small space which makes me have to carry it at times. Update 5/12/24. After a few months the hose still works no issues there but the rubber coating has literally started to peel away from the hose. Almost throughout the whole hose. It looks like you took a lighter and burned holes through the hose. You can see what’s under the rubber. It hasn’t been hot and it’s not even summer yet. This hose definitely will not last the warmer months. It’s only a matter of time. I will post the pics of this. It’s creepy looking it like a pattern of holes throughout the rubber and you can see the white hose underneath. I’m so upset. Not even really a lot of use as it’s only been 70-80 for a month or two every two weeks or so. It’s sad. It great equality material. The hose and the idea was great but the rubber or what shkd be rubber is thin and eats away quick. The hose is even covered by the side of the house so it’s not even exposed to the elements like that. Very disappointed because come summer I’m going to need another hose again. ... show more

Instructions say, do not leave in direct sunlight or use in temperatures over 113 deg. Also says to bring inside during freezing weather. Not usable in my area .

    • Okay but not as expandable as expected
This hose works fine as, well, a hose. It does expand, but nowhere near twice the length in my experience. I've tried it a few times, and it doesn't expand enough to reach all the way across my patio, even though it's way more than halfway before I turn on the water. It's flexible and easy to maneuver, but I'm disappointed in the expanding. ... show more

    • Great Hose!
When I first opened the box I wasn't quite sure about this hose. It is VERY lightweight and flexible out of the box. But once hooked up to water, the hose is AMAZING! I love how lightweight it is and easily moveable while using it. Other hoses get kinks and just get so twisted if you don't keep them in the perfect circle during storage. This hose is so versatile. The accessory nozzle that it comes with is very nice quality and has several different spray settings which are very nice. I also love that the hose is expandable. The metal ends on each side are of very nice quality. They screw on and off very easily. And they have an amazing seal when attached completely.     • Great for Very Light-Duty Work in a Small Area
We have an area where people like to rinse their feet after coming off the beach, and the expandable-type hoses have typically been favored because they shrink-up out of the way when they're not being used, so I ordered this one to test. Even though I gave it 4 Stars (mainly because it's a good value for light-duty washing or watering at the current price of $25) this expandable hose does not feel as rugged as its fabric-coated counterparts. I imagine this best being used in a small area where someone wants a very light, flexible hose for light-duty use and who is willing to remember to turn it off each time at the spigot end. Pros: Good price, Comes with a Hose Nozzle, Hose nozzle works well, Comes with a Brass Shut-off Valve, Very Very Flexible and Light, Comes with a Hose holder, Comes with Extra Rubber Washers.     • Great Value, Feels Durable and I love the Sprayer Nozzle
This is a nice expandable hose. I got this to use to water the back garden and it works really good and is better than expected. I like the nozzle that it comes with also as it allows me to use a gentle spray for the garden or a heavy spray to clean my patio area. The sprayer is better quality than the one I got from the garden center at Wally World. One of main issues in choosing this hose was that it would be easy to put away so no one would run over it with the lawn mower and it was easy to coil up and place on the hose hanger.
