In my opinion, the "stripes" are going the wrong direction, but then they do look nice when draped on the sofa or one's lap. I ordered this blanket in a queen size to compliment my quilt on my bed. Let me just say I was not disappointed. The blanket is a nice hunter green and very soft and warm. The level of thickness is about medium in weight more suited as an add on to your bedding. It arrives vacuum packed but after i laundered it the blanket fluffed out nicely. This throw is very soft and light weight, but still warm. I use these at the foot of my bed and my dog also likes to lay on them, so I have several. They wash and dry well and are holding up through several laundry trips so far. They are a good value for the price paid.
