I was looking for a small but strong blower to quickly dry vehicles when washing them. A traditional leaf blower was overkill and was awkward to use inside of a vehicle or engine compartment. Battery powered hair dryers didn’t have enough oomph to be useful. I tried this blower because it was compact (thus portable) and seemed to be powerful enough. The three speeds were a nice touch and the built in light came in handy when working in dark areas. Basically on paper it exceeded my criteria in a good way. The blower is lightweight and well constructed and easy to use. Pulling the trigger gives a slight delay while the motor ramps up. This is convenient for looking really quickly into dark crevasses with the built in light without triggering the blower motor. The blower motor soft start is most likely to ease the initial load on the battery packs giving them a longer life. After charging up the battery I was impressed with the amount of power this device has. It quickly dried a large SUV and a compact car in just a few minutes versus 15 to 25 minutes doing it by hand. No spotting from the water. Selecting a lower motor speed allowed me to easily blow out the grille and wheel areas and also dust the inside of the vehicles. Detailed grilles are a real pain to dry and dusting is a pain. The small size (bigger than a hair dryer and smaller than a tradition leaf blower) allowed easy access to the tight areas of the interior and engine compartments. My process process became if the vacuum nozzle doesn’t fit in an area, blow it out of there so I can get to it with the vacuum. After the two vehicles were done the battery still had plenty of power left over to blow out the garage and dust off a small patio. The three tips and the extension are easy to assemble and disassemble with a simple twist. Since this was used around painted surfaces most of the time I did take the liberty to rubber coat the tips to avoid any accidental scratches. You could also put electrical tape on the ends as well if that is a concern. ( The warranty is 1 year if you email them your Amazon order number. Much better than the common 30 day warranty for most electronics. Would I buy it again? This blowers fit neatly in a niche of what most homeowners would need without taking up a lots of space storing it. It easily will fit in the corner of a trunk or in a storage well of a car. Some the a bigger units can’t do. So the answer is yes, it fit my needs around the house and the specialized requirements I was looking for. NOTE: There is a video out there indicating the batteries for this blower are Dewalt compatible. My experience is they look a lot like a Dewalt battery, but are not interchangeable. Having used several other leaf blower, was "blown away" by this nifty little, light, small and powerful blower. The autumn leaves always got stuck at the roots of my plants. Now with the thought-through little attachment, the leaves have no place to hide anymore.
