    • Must cycle this glandular supplement
According to specialists, never take a specific glandular supplement for over 2 months. All OTC thyroid supplements are void of t3 and t4. However, this doesn't meant that the supplement is unhelpful. This is the 2nd day I've used this product, so it is too early to tell a big difference. Here's what I notice so far: I had a moderate energy increase an hour after swallowing a capsule. I also felt some slight indigestion, but that may have been something else. I slept incredibly well last night. I usually don't sleep well at all. I feel very refreshed this morning. Initially, I worried about the 200mg which would be probably toxic if there was t3 or t4 in it. Although i currently am not on medication (tsh and antibody test are fine, but ive never been given the free t3/t4 test despite having a plethora of thyroid symptoms including high cystein and LDL levels), this supplement could be used in conjunction with thyroid medication. ... show more

    • It didn't work for me.
I was very hopeful that this product would help me. Unfortunately I had to stop taking it because I was waking up with a headache every morning. As soon as I stopped taking it, the headaches stopped. I'm sure that it helps some people, but not me.

I have recently purchased this desiccated form of Thyroid. It seemed to help. I have also recently purchased Ancestral Thyroid as well. I seem to like that one better, and you get more for your money with them as well. I wish you could buy the Ancestral Thyroid on Amazon, but I could only purchase it on Ebay. ... show more

    • Sadly, didn't meet my expectations
My thyroid is the "sensitive to brassicas" type, which means I need to avoid things that are high in a particular form of sulfur, known as thiocyanates. Since COVID, my thyroid is getting more and more sensitive, and it translates to more fatigue and headaches. I was hoping to get around my problem by using this product. Didn't happen. I suspect this is rich in sulfur as I was out of action for a day. No foul, no harm. Was does help is getting enough vitamin D, egg yolk for choline, the source material for thyroid hormone, and trace minerals iodine (from kelp) and selenium, and avoiding foods high in sulfur like coffee, legumes, dairy...and maybe wheat. If you have a lot of headaches, definitely try going gluten-free. ... show more
