  • Great guitar!
Color: Black and White Stripes
Highly recommend. I’ve owned and played several guitars and this very simple rockin machine is great! Very easy to play, great action, no tuning issues with the floyd. I’ve owned four or five guitars with a Floyd and always had tuning issues when using them which was frustrating….not with this guitar. The Floyd rose isn’t a floating system meaning it rests up against the guitar body making it impossible to pull up on whammy bar making it go sharp. This limited action means more stability and less troubles with guitar going out of tune during dive bombs. I’ll trade being able to bend notes sharp for a more stable, simple, and reliable design as this guitar has at an affordable cost ... show more

  • Amazing Neck
Color: Red, Black, and White Stripes
I love this guitar for one reason above all.... the neck. I've never played a guitar with such a perfect feeling neck before. I was skeptical regarding the "unfinished" look but wow, I would put this neck on all my guitars if I could. I've only had it for about a month so I cant really comment on durability and how it does with changes in weather. The guitar also sounds amazing. The Floyd with "d-tuna" works perfect. Some people have complained that you can't pop it down to drop d tuning without pushing down on the vibrato bar, however I have not experienced this problem. I will admit that it was more difficult when I first got it but after several uses it became easier and easier. I am thinking about swapping out the Wolfgang pickups with the Frankenstein pickup. More for just a personal preference and to do something different. I don't really have any complaints about the Wolfgangs. I would 100% buy this guitar again. I'd like to purchase a yellow and black one too. ... show more

  • In honor of EVH
Color: Black and White Stripes
I bought this guitar because Eddie was a hero and inspiration. The reliced models were beyond my budget, but this had what I wanted with simple electronics, Floyd Rose with D-Tuna, and the black and white finish from the debut Van Halen album. Fret work was great (not perfect) and out of the box was ready to go after adjusting the D-Tuna fine tuner screw, and tuning. Unless you have someone set it up, research it on YouTube. Fast and comfortable neck, but for its price tag, no gigbag. ... show more

  • Plays Like a Dream!
I bought this for 575 dollars. The price was so good in comparison to the others, so I had to buy it. When it arrived, one outstanding feature was the neck. It is amazingly smooth and very fast. The paint job looks really great. I enjoyed the way the pickup sounded, but I had a Seymour Duncan custom shop 78 model pickup that I threw on. Now it sounds amazing and plays amazing! I had no issues with the guitar and it was very well set up. Now I have one of my dream guitars! It plays that well. The volume knob (labeled "tone") has very little friction, so it's very easy to turn. It kind of plays like a really nice Strat. Which makes sense because this guitar was built in a Mexican Fender factory. Anyway, I'd jump on it ASAP because it is amazing especially for the price. Buy up! ... show more

Simply love it. It took forever to arrive but once I received it I set it up to my liking and it plays and sounds amazing. The graphics are spectacular with a very high gloss finish. Very happy with this guitar. Comes without a case.

  • The best feeling compound neck, and SCREAMING tone. Fret edges sub par, though.
Color: Black and White Stripes
PROS: The nicest feeling, fastest neck I've ever played (compound radius). Easy bending. SO easy. Single humbucker has awesome, screaming tone. D-Tuna is great and works as designed. CONS: Wish this wasn't "striped" paint job. Fret edges were actually shorter than the neck width itself, so it actually hurt to play after a while Honestly I wanted badly to keep this but the fret work ultimately was too poor. The frets weren't to the edge of the fretboard, so your fingers would actually scrape the wood edges where they meet. I wish that wasn't the case. ... show more
