Purchase to use in the garage/luvingroom and occasionally outside. The ad shows a picture of it being used outdoors. Reading the directions, it says do not use outside. The unit is quiet, not as noisy as others I've had in the past. The only frustrating thing is, you have to pour the water in directly in the top. Others have a door on the bottom which make it easier. It was about 93* outside, The cooler kept my living room at 78*. Also, if you're gonna be running it for long periods of time, It is a good idea to purchase extra reuseable ice blocks. The 2 that come with this unit only last about 60 minutes. The plug on the bottom does Occasionally leak. I used plumber's tape and put a waterproof mat underneath the unit. ... show more

Works great until it started leaking water everywhere. Tried to look online for a diagram of this fan for repair, but the manufacture is unknown. I'm just going to repair it myself since it probably a simple plumbing issue. It does reduce the temperature by 5 degrees without the ice packs. I like this Heater but for two reasons Reason one is heat output, the heat is fine but not quite enough fan blowing it out. Reason two is you can't keep the settings every time it shuts off the settings go to factory settings and factory settings for hight heat is 96 degrees so every time you turn it on you have to adjust the heat level. Still it is a nice small space heater, On the Plus side the Customer service is excellent and gave me a choice of full refund or replacement, so needless to say they stand behind their products and make sure their customers are completely satisfied ... show more

    • Perfect for my camper in the winter
I purchased another heater before getting this one that is much bigger it was doing great but our bedroom was just not quite warm enough. I am a very cold natured person and was sleeping with a Sherpa blanket and heated blanket. This heater was perfect to put on the “dresser” of our RV . It is small enough I could place it next to the TV with no worries of it heating the screen up. I can use oscillating as well. But this little guy gets it so warm that I have stopped using my heated blanket. I just turn it on low when I get home and within about 30 min our bedroom is toasty warm.     • Works great for small rooms!
We use this small heater every winter. It doesn’t get too cold where we live not enough to turn on the house heater but in a small room with the doors closed it works great at warming up the place. Does sometimes get too hot but I like the timer option to it won’t run all night. Would recommend!
