GREAT PRODUCT!!! If you know about Essiac, you probably know it is touted to kill cancer, and prevent it. Just google it, and you will find all the info & research regarding this Fantastic product. Thank you Nurse Rene Caisse!! Caisse spelled backwards is Essiac, that's where the name came from. Our health, and our Immune Systems are in our gut health, and Essiac Extract detoxes the gut. I like to use the Extract form instead of the Tea, because I hear the tea is pretty bitter, although the Extract has Organic Ethyl Alcohol, and it is very high proof (I believe it is like 190 proof), but it is down in 3tsp with a cold water chaser, and I'm done. I'd rather just get it done & over in one shot fast. But, if you can't have alcohol, you DO NOT want to take this form of Essiac... You would want the Essiac Tea which has NO Alcohol. The alcohol is only because this review is about the Extract form of Essiac. This product gets 5stars from me all day, although the last seller i purchased this product from, it wasn't Essiac International, it was Organic B******, I don't really want to call a seller out by name because maybe it was a fluke, and I really believe it was the shipper FedEx Smartpost fault, but, I ordered this product, and it took 16 days to get. PA to NV, that is unacceptable!! Shame on you FedEx Smartpost!! I probably wont order this product from here again, as I need a reliable and reasonable delivery time frame. (I actually placed an order for something that shipped internationally, the day after I ordered the Essiac product, and the International order came 2 days quicker than my Essiac order that shipped from Pennsylvania to Nevada!!! Again, I dont believe it was the sellers fault, I believe the fault lies in the carrier(FedEx Smartpost), but, this is a product that once I start, I don't want to run out of! It is a detoxification, and you don't want to run out in the middle of your detox! Especially because, I ordered it in time to have before running out, and the Carrier took an Unbelievably LONG Time to get it to me! The problem with this formula is that it contains alcohol. As a cancer patient, I’m trying to stay away from that to be kind to my organs (lol). Aside from that, it has a very “earthy” taste to it which wasn’t bad actually. I didn’t have to mix it with anything which was convenient. I kept it in the refrigerator and took the dosage just before I went to bed. If it didn’t have the alcohol in it I would have reordered it again. ... show more

I ordered actual tea from another company, who is taking a while to even process my shipment, which is fine because it's a small company and they seem to take care in the entire process from making the tea etc. So in the meantime, I purchased this to use while I am waiting on the other. This seemed to have great reviews so I went with it. I just got it, so I will do a follow-up review after longer use. I was going to use the entire bottle before switching to the other tea that I purchased. Which is the type of tea that you brew yourself. Some people say that you should only use the tea, but I am going to compare the two, I would think that a concentrate like this would be just as good, but I will see. Based on the comments, I should be able to notice something in the next day or two. When I took it, I was preparing myself for the taste based on the comments, but I thought it tasted ok. It does come in a plastic container, but I think that helps to not worry about it breaking in shipping. ... show more

My Aunt in Texas was recently diagnosed with cancer. A friend that had used this ESSIAC Original Herbal Liquid Extract had good success with it over a 12 year span. She did say that it was a little hot to take with a teaspoon but she was able to get it down. We will see how it does with her. Her surgery is scheduled for next week.
