  • Beautiful filament in a hard-to-find color gradient
Color: Matte Gradient Dreamland
This specific colorway gradient is really hard to get your hands on for a reasonable price. Eryone seems to be the lowest price point out there, while also being the great quality that I've grown to expect from them. I am so happy to finally have this colorway at a more affordable price point. One of the best parts of this filament is the lack of stringing. I am usually someone that prints for function more than form, but I've been printing dragons for my Mom (and now my daughter) for a while and dragons in regular PLA and silk tend to have stringing problems when you get to the tops of some of the intricate details. I, therefore, end up spending a little while on clean up when a print is finished. I don't have that problem with this filament, they are nearly perfect as soon as they come off of the print bed...the first time ever for a matte filament as usually stringing I have experienced is worse with matte filaments. A couple of details to note that have changed from previous versions of the spool and packaging: this spool is still cardboard, but it is coated to work with AMS but this filament also came with a reusable plastic vacuum sealed back. I've had filament come with separate bags before, but this is one of very few filaments that I have purchased that came in a bag meant to be re-used. I will note that you should cut the bag open since the seal is not straight or flat due to the vacuum sealing and while you can absolutely tear it open as it is designed, you risk the plastic tearing unevenly, so I am glad I opted for scissors this time (ask me how I know). The only drawbacks that I have found is that there isn't much blue in the finished print and while I generally appreciate a quick color changing filament, because this one is only 3 colors, larger scale items tend to repeat colors more frequently than I'm used to. This isn't a drawback, but something to be aware of when you're deciding what kinds of things to print with a 3-color gradient as every type of gradient filament out there will have uses that it is best suited for. ... show more

  • Excellent filament! Awesome color!
Color: Matte Watercolor Rainbow
I been eyeballing this stuff for a while now and finally pulled the trigger to give it a try. Printed great right out of the package. Colors popped and are very easy on the eyes. I knew as soon as I seen the ice cream cones I had to use this stuff! Already bought a 2nd spool! Well worth the money!

  • Good filament
Color: Silk Waterfall Rainbow
This filament is very cool. The surface finish is good and it hasn't clogged on me so far. Its a little on the pricier side for filament but it has been well worth it for me. Came perfectly sealed with a bag of desiccant and wasn't at all brittle. Works well for all of the goofy models I make.

  • Buyer beware if your intended use is multi color in an ams
Color: Silk Waterfall Rainbow
I got the waterfall silk fast change filament to make what’s in the photos. First off we like the colors, vibrant and shifted quicker than our other rainbow filaments. What I really hated was the filament is so soft that it will strip out on the Bambu x1c ams or extruder if it goes through more then once. So if your just printing and not changing filaments your probably fine, if your swapping colors prepare to babysit your printer. The rolled filament in the picture is how much I had to cut out, distance from extruder to ams motor, every time it would strip out before I could “help” push it along past the damaged section, 374 layer changes…. More then half of those got caught, 23 hour print took three days overall. We got the box damaged, Amazons fault, and that caused the filament spool to be damaged so before I even used it I had to respool it on to a reusable spool, then we found out what a nightmare this was going to be after the third “couldn’t feed filament to the extruder”. We really thought about returning it but didn’t think it would get accepted so we buckled up and got on with it. And as you can see it did come out really nicely using just over 130g for the model 90g for purge and 53.6g of that mess of rolled filament in the picture. As much as we like the fast change and the color this did not suit what we use this kind of filament for. Please be aware of this for your use case. ... show more

  • Easy to print, easy to use, good stuff

  • Pros : pretty, cons: very brittle, long color transition, smaller spool
Color: Matte Macaron Rainbow
I was excited to try this filament out. I love the matte finish. It looks pretty but it has a lot of cons. The color change is long so unless you have a large print it doesn’t really look much different. It is also some of the weakest filament I’ve ever used. I wanted to do a series of articulated figures with this filament and had one print snap in half simply from trying to pop it off the build plate. In fact I’ve been printing about 10 years now and it is the weakest I’ve ever used. The spool also felt like it wasn’t as full as a typical roll of filament. Not sure if I got a repackaged used roll or what but it weighed about 30% less in comparison to my other full rolls. I will use this roll up on some solid non structural prints but I will not be ordering anymore. ... show more

  • Eryone is a favorite brand in this household.
Color: Matte Macaron Rainbow
This is one of my favorite brands to print with. I have Enders, K1s, P1S, A1 minis and a Voxelab. Eryone prints fantastic on all my machines. I tend to use the generic PLA setting. The colors are always top nothc. This matte rainbow has a soft feel once printed and reminds me a sherbert colors.. 5 stars all day everyday. ... show more

  • The filament itself is great. Adhesion, colors, it's all great.
Color: Matte Watercolor Rainbow
Great filament that adheres well and doesn't clog often. My only problem is the cardboard spools in an AMS. Yes there are adapters and such, but they don't always work so well and there is the problem with the spools hopping around and getting wedged when you get near the end. I know that weights can be used, but all of this adaption isn't necessary if the spool is plastic. Minus 1 star until they use heavier spools or something that makes them equal to plastic. ... show more
