I bought these because the description said, "UL approved US standard adapter, output voltage of the mains plug is DC 12V, and its power consumption is only 6W..." I have 12VDC at my mailbox to power things like lights and bought them specifically because it said they were 12VDC. When they arrived I found that they are actually 4.5VDC and that is what it says in the technical description. So conflicting information. The plug is a strange proprietary mix of standard plugs. I can still use them by transforming down to 4.5V, but I was trying to avoid that. There were other lights I might have bought at a different voltage. This is probably not a problem for most since you will be using the plug that came with the item. So far I have only plugged them in briefly and they are beautiful. Time will tell how well the copper wire lasts. I will update if anything changes. ... show more

The lights themselves are fine, but I ordered these particular lights because it showed that it came with a remote. It did not. I also ordered another set that DID come with the remote, but the remote doesn't actually work. When using the customer service chat and clicking "send replacement" there was not one available for either product and I only had the option to return for refund. ... show more

Love that I can plug in and they stay lit outside with any weather. Outlight in house and they have long wires so they go from outlet under door to outside. All different sequence of lights, blinking, phasing, steady. I change each night during the holidays. Great lights!

Good value. The single 66 ft length is a good on a tree and you can't see the wire hardly. Seems flimsy but seems to hold up after careful stringing up. Only had for a few months, so time will tell on longevity. I use a timer to turn on in back yard every night. The 12 VDC LED lights are safer too. Although the power converter needs a 120V outlet somewhere, same as all Christmas lights. ... show more

Amazon customer service put me in contact with the manufacturer, but because they are in China the seller told me to just work with Amazon directly. I didn’t rate the remote control or timer because I don’t utilize them. But the lights are very pretty and I am happy with them. I put it on a faux bamboo tree in the family happy room and when I turn them on, it really puts out a pretty delicate light.
