This printer is a desired downsize from my larger WT-7200 wide-format printer. The 15000 is not quite as versatile as the 7200, which handles 11 x 17 in the scanner, but it provides a lot of features for the size and is adequate for normal home printing tasks. The printer set-up was easy and everything worked well the first time. TAKE THE BAD REVIEWS SERIOUSLY!! I feel like I should be paid for the amount of time this product has wasted of mine. This is the worst printing experience I've ever had. I hope people read these reviews, I didn't. I just saw the high ratings and ordered it. I wish I had read the reviews. This product is an absolute nightmare! Attempting to copy and print by eye with crayons would be preferable to spending a dime on this. Absolute waste of time, money, and patience! It took me 3 hours to get it set up, which I consider impressive since another reviewer took 4. I guess I'm doing ok compared to them. When it finally decided to connect, it refused to print. Errors, no errors, flashing lights, nothing. Then it jammed several times. Progress? Did you buy this thinking you could put papers to be scanned or copied in the top tray instead of manually on the glass? Tough luck, it doesn't do that. It doesn't really do anything well other than take up an enormous amount of desk space. I'm going to be happy to drop it off at ups to rerun this POS. ... show more

Best small office printer I’ve had! It’s nifty to not replace ink cartridges all the time. Colour is better with Epson brand paper, but I like the paper texture so I’m ok with that. I had to mess around a bit to get true colour but I could both from gimp and from Adobe products. For a little bit of a of time invested in a learning curve (and money, not exactly cheap for a home office) I’ve been able to replace commercial photo prints and some giclee prints.     • A mostly LOVE, but sometimes HATE relationship.

First, the price gouging is real but the demand makes it inexcusable but unavoidable. I paid a huge premium in order to get one in a reasonable amount of time. Epson acts oblivious to this grey market BS but there is also nothing they can legally do. This printer does a really beautiful job (for an inkjet printer) when printing Tabloid (and larger) prints. Not surprisingly, photos really need to be printed on a heavier gloss or satin finish paper in order to for large areas of dark color to look smooth and opaque. It really does a commendable job on details and I have been very pleased when using it to print out sewing patterns. It also prints smaller than A4 jobs well. If using for T-shirt transfers, then the even application of color, image clarity and detail all are adequate to good for a home user but the results are certainly not professional. This machine has printed and printed for months with the ink that came with the machine. This is impressive as I mainly print full bleed four color tabloid sized prints. It scanner and fax capabilities have been little used but issue free. The interface for the printer can be difficult if you want to deviate from your standard settings but ultimately, it is just a matter of learning what boxes to check and uncheck. WiFi and remote printing are easy and download quickly to the printer. Now for the not so great. This printer is loud and so so so so so so SLOW. You will be stunned how long it will take to simply print out a single page of US LTR sized single sided black and white text. I recently printed an 11 page PDF file that was a 3/4 text and 1/4 color photo graphics. It took over two hours. Honest. TWO HOURS.... It does a wonderful job of printing but it does it on its own schedule. ... show more
