Easy to set up. I like that the ink doesn't seem to dry out as fast as with the old style printer cartridges. Hopefully it lasts several years- I have really had it with planned obsolescence and I am tired of investing in items that only last a short time- hopefully this last well beyond the promised 'you get 2 years worth of ink- implying the product will last beyond that- which I hope it does. We are all trying to function in the modern world but if it become too burdensome to do so more of will simply 'opt out' of all of it, so I hope companies start to realize that and build products that people can buy maybe 2- 3x in their lifetime vs having to fill land fills and dump plastic in the oceans. Anyway sorry for the mini rant but seriously it's enough. The printer has worked very well for 1 month so far- I need to print scripts at home for my work which I feel guilty enough about. I hope I don't need to throw this printer in the trash in a year- will circle back after some time has passed and up dated but so far so good- easy to connect to wifi nice image quality - having some trouble printing some PDFs in color- but that might be a local problem. ... show more

HP is HORRIBLE!! I gave them a second chance. I like the idea of no cartridge Inc. However, I am wasting more ink and paper because there are so many error codes and I can’t get one page to print in full because of these error codes. The ease of use is OK push a button and it’s supposed to print, but it doesn’t. It is taking me over an hour to get one page printed in full. It is ridiculously faulted. The printer is horrible. I called tech-support. They told me to clear the queue. My queue has only shown up on my screen once that there were items waiting to print and I cleared them. The one time it showed up now however I’ve never been able to see a Q anywhere on my phone or my printer I’ve only seen one error code and that was 03 and that was a paper jam, which I obviously cleared. Every other time it was the power button blinking at me with no indication of what the “error message” was, so the only thing I knew to do was unplug it for 10+ seconds. That worked every time; however, I shouldn’t have to do that EVERY TIME I print something…literally EVERY TIME!!! ... show more

Easily unpacked and simple to load the ink and startup. The HP website is very helpful with instructions and animation. Print quality is good and the scanner works flawlessly. I expect the tanks to save a lot on ink cartridges in the year to come.

    • 1 Year Review - Better than cartridge inks!

We print a few hundred pages a month, and typically need to replace cartridge inks every 3 months. Exactly one year since purchase I'm still running on the ink that came with this machine! Refills are very cost effective compared to cartridges, and it's quick and easy to see ink levels. The only issue I've encountered is that it doesn't hold a ton of paper (about 100 sheets) and can sometimes be finnicky when first loading. If you print a lot of volume, you may want something that holds more paper. Overall I am very happy with this purchase, and will be sticking with refillable tank printers in the future! Easy set up. Print quality is great. Love that I can print wirelessly from my phone or iPad. The ink system appears to be incredibe with large refillable ink wells instead of crazy expensive ink cartridges. We’re loving it.

I absolutely love this printer. Quiet and fast. HP made it user friendly. It will 5000 sheets before your black ink runs out. I am a writer and use this many times a day. I just wish it had a larger paper load. It can be used as a scanner. All I do enjoy it.
