  • so sick!
1: gorgeous guitar 2: after a good set up + (locking tuners & string butler) the tuning will stay even with weird open tunings and playing hard. 3: pickups actually sound really good
Reviewed in the United States on May 17, 2024 by i’ve had these sauces before and they’re usually amazing. but i’m pretty sure every single sauce i received was expired or spoiled… now it’s non returnable? yikes.

  • An excellent guitar!
Love the style and look. It's relatively light compared to the Gibson original. Fret/neck took some getting used to as it is slightly different from LP model. Update: I've had it several months and must add that you need to make needed setup adjustments to the bridge for it to play properly and to stay tuned. ... show more

  • Great guitar for the money
I find little playing difference between this and the Gibson SG which is quite a bit more expensive. Thought I would need to change strings, tuning heads , possibly put Seymour Duncans on it and file frets but none of that was necessary!! Only thing I don't like is the top strap attachment. Also, it appears that the screw for the attachment is the only screw holding the neck to the body besides glue. ... show more

  • Beautiful guitar
I bought this for my 10 year old grandson who has been playing for about 2 years currently after a hiatus for a few years. He wanted an upgrade and had earned it. He is thrilled. He loves it! This is a beautiful guitar and was shipped promptly.

  • good guitar for the money
guitar came in without damage, double boxed. looks great. played 71 Gibson SG for many years, along with Strats, Jazzmaster, Mosrite and Rics. This guitar promises to be a good instrument Added Ernie Ball super slinkys, adjusted string height and intonation. plays well with the exception of sharp edges on every fret. lot of fret work needed. no slipage with tuners. great finish. The sound is very good. no sound when selector switch is set for both p/u's. set to either p/u, turn up volume to both and shizam both play. I'm giving this instrument a 3 because of the fret work and selector switch. ... show more

  • Wish i never gave this one up
I had this guitar for about 8-10 years when i was playing regularly as a kid through adulthood, and sold it for cash when i “needed” other things…it was a great instrument and had excellent tone and versatility. I like that Epiphone redesigned the headstock to mimic their parent brand better. It is headstock heavy so you would be wise to get some strap locks and keep a firm grasp on the neck when playing - only drawback of the design. ... show more
