This has got to be the best tattoo after care moisturizer I’ve ever used. It’s loaded with clean ingredients which I’m stoked about. It helped heal my tattoo quickly and kept it moisturized. I didn’t experience any crusty scabbing like the last tattoo I got while using regular lotion. I appreciate the fact that it has anti microbial and anti inflammatory properties which made the healing process go smooth. It doesn’t really smell like anything either which I like. I used it twice a day on average and I still have a good amount left over which I’ve now just been using to keep my hands moisturized! Love it over all the best product I’ve used and I will be pairing the Epik cream with the Cosmik soap for my next tattoo. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I got the tattoo in my video 9 days ago and it is already fully healed and looks amazing because of this cream. I have other tattoos and have traditionally used aquaphor until the tattoo was done flaking and then used lubriderm to moisturize after. With this tattoo, I was introduced to this cream by my artists to use as both steps in one solution. I can say that my tattoo healed faster and looks great from using this cream. It’s not like a traditional hand lotion and thin, it is thicker and you can tell it locks onto your skin. It seems to be water resistant because when I sweat in the gym, this stuff stays there. I only had to use it a few times a day in order for my tattoo to heal up incredibly. I also used the Ikonik soap to clean my tatto along side of this cream whenever I showered. There will never be a need for me to go back to other practices with protecting and moisturizing my tattoos. This stuff is amazing and I will be recommending it to anyone who gets tattoos from now on. Ditch the old ways and use this one product to do it all, you won’t regret it. ... show more

I like the travel size of this particular tattoo cream (although the price point is pretty steep for less than 1 ounce of product) and I was feeling hopeful when I saw a thorough list of ingredients as well as a note that the cream is made in the US and is cruelty-free. The cream is a medium consistency, not too thick but not watery, and dispenses white but rubs in clear fairly quickly. But... the cream smells, and it smells ... odd. Somewhere between 'acne treatment' and 'diaper rash ointment', but it isn't particularly pleasant. If you only use a small amount the smell disperses quickly, but I wasn't thrilled by the scent. Castor oil is listed as one of the ingredients so maybe that's where it comes from? There is also 'imperata cylindrica root extract' which is a weed that some areas consider to have anti-inflammatory properties, but I found conflicting research on whether this is actually confirmed or not. But maybe some of the smell is from the botanical ingredients. It moisturized my skin a little bit, and my tattoos were a little brighter, but I can get the same effect from any lotion, and for the price point, I could invest in a much larger bottle of something that doesn't smell. ... show more
