My grandfather struggles to hear with his hearing aids, but not with this! We wanted something rechargeable since batteries for them can be expensive and the charge on this thing lasts all day! My husband got a hearing problem and can’t hear our of both ears so I got the hearing aids to see if it would help well it help him out a lot now he can enjoy his tv time without having to turn the volume up on the tv and I no long have to yell at him anytime to turn the tv down

I have marginal hearing loss in both ears. My first hearing aids were very expensive, needed lots of TLC, and spent a lot of time traveling back and forth to a service center. A couple of years ago, I decided to try some of the much less expensive "hearing amplifiers". This particular amplifier is wonderful. It is very comfortable. This unit is slightly big for my ear especially with my glasses. However, it can be adjusted to fit snugly in the ear to prevent it falling off. I do like the noise cancelling feature, it is extremely helpful. Overall, for the price it's a great unit. It recharges so your not constantly buying batteries. We got this hearing aid for our 79yr old dad for Christmas. This was to update his current hearing aid that he uses randomly to hear any important breaking news. He says it's an improvement but he's also getting use to playing with the setting/modes which he is not familiar with. I have been wanting to try one of these for a while, and my wife bought this for me. I was pleasantly surprised at how well it worked. It does amplify a bit more background noise than I would like, but the different setting help with that. Overall it is a good device and I will continue to use it.
