I’ve had this particular Master tattoo gun before from a class I took in California. The pen then only had one top and bottom piece, so when it died it was a bummer. It also had about the same amount of needles but they were single point needle. This one above I found here on Amazon and it was pretty affordable. This one came with two chargeable bottom pieces, now when one dies I can replace it and finish my work. Then two differently needles came in the box, a good amount of shading needles and doubled ones this time. There is also some cords i never used, it has great speed settings. I bought this for a friend that does tattoos. When he was tattooing me it was quick and easy to move around the area. I bought this 4 months ago. I have used it for about 2 months on and off just for practice on fake skins. One of the batteries shut off with half a charge still, then wouldn’t turn back on. Down to one battery. After looking online, that seems to be a common issue. A little afraid to invest money in another battery rather than just going a different direction completely. ... show more

I find I use this more for shading, and smaller needle groupings . Not as powerful as a Flux, or Neuma 4. If you want something to push bigger needles keep looking. That said the batteries are the best of the affordable range. They charge up easily, hold it forever, and last a long time. Another interesting thing. These do well with tatsoul envy gen2 nano carts. Set at a higher speed with the flick of the wrist you can do micro dot work shading. Really great for doing finelime work. ... show more
