Hands down the best close quarters optic. People swear by Aimpoint or LPVO's for CQC, but let's be honest you can even take these things out a few hundred meters if you're worth your salt. Throw a 3x or 5x magnifier behind it and you're really stretching out. I've had several models of EoTech, all starting with the 512. These things take a wild beating and never even flinch, and trust me, I abuse my gear. The EXPS 3-2 is no exception. While working under NODs the reticle is crisp, and with proper adjustment it's not overpowering like some non-brightness adjusting optics. As many others have stated, carefully inspect your sight and packaging to ensure you don't have a knockoff. I got a genuine product on the first go-round, so I don't have any experience with customer service. I've been impressed with the sight so far. Only concern would be the battery compartment is plastic, but for its credit, it's not chintzy ABS. Sight picture projection is extremely bright even on medium settings compared to the other LED red dots I own. I had to tighten up the quick release bolt to have a snug fit on m rail, but otherwise installed without issue. ... show more

Ordered tan got a black one even though the box said it was tan. Had scratches all over it. It was definitely not new. Update, took over a month to ge my money back! I'd do less then 1 star if I could

If you do a youtube or forum search about Eotech's products you will see that they are great for fast shooting with both eyes open. I can consistently hit man size target at 300 yards and further with this optic. I prefer the 2 dot reticle because it takes some of the guess work out of shooting at longer ranges. The quick detach option is great, and it does return to zero. My rifle is cerakoted FDE and the Eotech tan doesn't match up perfectly. It is more of a bronze color in my opinion, but it still looks good. ... show more

The sight is genuine, but came with the seal already opened and marks on the underside of it as if the seller is just recycling returned sights. If not for the black friday sale, I would not gamble with Amazon again.

yeah love eotech, they are the best red dot sights out there. they are meant to be used like a ghost ring. anything in the 65 moa ring is going down. water proof, built like a tank, accurate, nv, and hold a zero. these are great and you have different reticles to choose from. get one thank me later!
