Spent four weeks at the National Training Center in California. Spent almost every night in this thing. Most comfortable sleep I've ever gotten when sleeping outdoors. I do recommend a sleep mat/pad on cooler nights because even the slightest breeze will end up cooling you down, even in a sleeping bag. The plus side of this is that it's a great way to stay cool during the day when its warm out. Edit Update 9 June 16: I still have this hammock and it is still going strong. I bought this hammock (for two) in August of 2018. It is now May 2019. So...nine months I have had it. I sat in it yesterday, and it split on me. Seriously? A camping hammock that fell apart in less than one year. Disappointed for sure.

The fabric felt thin and before its first use there were loose threads sticking out from the stitching. I used it twice and the second use it split across the center. I do not believe these are true Eno hammocks. I have used Eno hammocks for ten years and will continue to do so. However, the product I received does not feel like the quality or integrity of an Eno product. I passed my Prime return period, so will not receive a refund. But, perhaps I will contact Eno to see about their one-year warranty. ... show more

It’s a hammock. It acts like a hammock. Hangs like a hammock. Does it’s job. Overpriced if you ask me but I’m the idiot that payed for it anyways because I liked the colors. Buy it if you want a hammock, or don’t. I don’t care

    • Years later, ready for a comfortable hammock

I've had a double nest for 4 years. Durability was never an issue. The seam from the extra panels which are sewn on the edges make it very uncomfortable. The seam is taught and feels like laying on a thin cord. It was always annoying but after using a much less expensive hammock which was far more comfortable, I'm even more disappointed with it. Pros: hooks and storage pouch are easy to use Cons: seams are uncomfortable, hooks require purchase of tree straps or something else just to hang the hammock, excess fabric panels are in your face and annoying, can't really use it diagonally for a flatter posture due to the seams, the seams create pressure points Update: This was purchased in 2013. It is now 2019 and this hammock has been permanently retired in favor of a much cheaper (despite having an attached bug screen and including tree straps) and far more comfortable hammock. When I tried a cheapo lightweight hammock from Hammock Bliss, I couldn't believe how much more comfortable it was. Skip this one. There are more comfortable hammocks out there with less damage to your wallet. ... show more

Bought this as a birthday present for myself and it works really well. Only thing is I didn’t realize it didn’t come with straps. I bought non-eno brand straps from Amazon (MalloMe brand I believe) and they work great! Also fits two people really nicely!

This is our first ENO hammock, and all the hype I've heard about them is perfectly justified in this neat, little package. I ordered this as a Christmas gift for my 12 yr old daughter, and she LOVES IT! Even though it was only 35 degrees outside, my daughter set it up and took a warm blanket with her to enjoy trying it out. Super easy to set up, strong and durable fabric, awesome colors, and balls up in it's own built in pouch that takes up less room in an overnight bag than a hooded sweatshirt. It should be noted that these hammocks do not come with the strap system needed for hanging it, so remember to order your straps! We used the Heavy Duty Extra Long Hang Tight Hammock System straps from Nature's Hangout. They are much better than some of the Atlas straps used by ENO and have far more loops to get the perfect height. Overall I love this product and can't wait to take it beyond our backyard as we travel. Awesome product at an affordable price! ... show more

I had purchased one for myself a while back (just a different color) this one is for my wife. First off, these hammocks are amazing! I will always buy ENO before any other brand because of the quality and ease of setup. The only thing that I noticed on this particular hammock was the color faded quickly (not as bright as when I first purchased). Other than that I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a hammock. I actually slept in mine for 5 days when we went camping. 10 times better than a cot in a tent. UPDATE: Do not keep up outdoors 24/7 as this will shorten the life of the hammock. It will fade fast and will tear eventually if you keep it outdoors all the time in rain, sun, etc. It does state this on the manufacturer website. I wish it was weatherproof and would last a lifetime. This is the only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. ... show more
