I am new to cricut and just purchased a cricut maker. The Engraving Tool for Cricut Maker worked well in my machine. However I never used the cricut brand engraving tool. The price seemed reasonable and it was easy to use.

Don't cheap out, This will frustrate you and possibly wreck your machine. I've tried using it twice. For it to work you have to read the instructions very closely. I was able to make one small project but twice it "fouled" out my machine. I don't know if I will use again for this reason. I don't want my machine to completely stop working because I wanted to save $20 ... show more
