  • Awesome Product!!
The media could not be loaded. I have never grown any fruit or vegetable before this and I’m hooked on the pickers. I have two large ones and a small one. My veggies grew so fast and they taste great! I’m so excited about my plants and the fact that I can grow our food. The picker made it easy and fun. I recommend this product!! Just make sure ur checking the water level in the tanks bc of the heat I’ve had to fill it three times a day! My plants needed more water but I was depending on the tanks to take care of the water. The covers that come with it makes sure you don’t have to worry about picking weeds. Also one thing that I did learn the hard way was not to plant so many. I put four plants in two rows and everything grew which made it hard for the plants. The tomatoes roots overtook the tank and left the cantaloupe with only a little water. So I had to start watering them from the top so they would get water too. They were damn near dead until I figured this out. Now I will only put one type of plant per box. It probably said it somewhere but I didn’t listen. I used crates for the vines that extended too far to be on the picker. I saw it on YouTube and decided it would work for me. I absolutely loved my experience with these containers and will use them from now on. I hope this review helps someone! 😃 HAPPY GROWING!! 🍉🍅 I grew watermelons, cantaloupe and tomatoes successfully in these pickers. Can’t wait to see what help I’ll be able to grow! 👩🏽🌾 ... show more

  • Great Garden Planter
These are terrific for planting a few veggies. Our tomotoes did amazingly well this summer. Boxes are up on a bench so it's easier to tend the plants. Watering is easy with no guesswork. When the it's full, water runs out the full hole. Stop and water again in a few days (unless you get good rain). I will probably buy more. ... show more

  • they work!
ok, so assembly can be done by a 4 yr old. its that easy. they hold a lot of dirt. the tube to water in is easy to use. what i miss, being able to really stake in a pole for my tomatoes. but i use an obelisk wire frame to hold them up. as it has four legs it will stand. what would i do differently next spring? i wont use the tray. i will fill it deeper with dirt and skip the ground watering. that will get me deeper dirt. my absolute fav part? the wheels!!! i can turn the box around to move the sun side, and i can move the plants to another part of my deck.... plants on wheels, what a thrill. seriously, they are big enough to really get some good herbs and tomatoes, peppers, even the zucchini which grab on to the deck. i would recommend this. i got four. i filled them quite fast. ... show more

  • replacement purchase
This one was purchased as a replacement for an older one that broke after being used for several years. The problems with old unit were that the plastic got brittle and wheels broke. Generally plants did great with water reservoir helping to keep watering frequency. The sides could use some stiffening or a brace to keep from bowig out. ... show more

  • Frugal outdoor/indoor Autoflower setup
The City Picker has proven to be incredibly practical for nurturing my 2 autoflower "plants". Its self-watering feature eliminates the need for constant watering. Setting up the raised bed was straightforward, and its compact size fits well in my limited gardening space. The design is functional and suits the needs of my plants perfectly. I've observed improved growth and overall health since I started using this grow box. Its self-watering system and thoughtful design, are great for growing anything from tomatoes to "tomatoes" ... show more

  • Serves its purpose.
The product is decent. Easy enough to put together. A little unclear what you're supposed to do with the cover that comes with it. Maybe it's for use with seedlings. Anyway, I purchased 2. Finally got to plant with them this weekend..no more frost advisories. Serves its purpose. However, when I needed another one and went to Amazon to repurchase this, it had doubled in price since about a month and a half ago. I purchased these at $29.98 each and they are now $59.99 each. I looked at my nearest box store and saw they had them at the normal price...same product, same brand. I didn't really want to leave the house during the pandemic but this product is not worth the $60 and I'm not sure why all the sudden this item needed to double in price to purchase online. Hmmm... ... show more
