This is a very handy and easy to use portable charger for an iPhone that takes a lightning connector. It doesn't take up much space and NO CORD is needed! The lightning connector flips up and is long enough to fit with the phone inside a protective case. I've only used it twice so far with my iPhone 13. The first time it charged it from about 18% to 100% fairly quickly. The next time it charged my phone from dead to 93%, but I was using my phone a good bit while it was charging, which is easy to do. I think it might fully charge it from zero if the phone wasn't being used during charging but I haven't tested that yet. It's only a 5,000 capacity, not a 10,000 as many power banks are, but it serves the purpose well enough. To charge the power bank itself you use the included USB-C to USB-C cord and your own USB-C charger that plugs into an outlet, or another charger and cord that fits into the power bank's USB-C port. The power bank recharges quickly using an Apple 20w USB-C charger. It has four lights to indicate how much charge it has. My iPhone 13 is blue in a clear case so I bought the blue charger. They aren't the same tone of blue; the charger is more of a light baby blue but that's okay. This is a handy little power bank, but it can only be used to charge something that has a lightning connection. This charger is small, powerful, and fast. I bought two for everyone in my family. One to carry in their purse (or pocket) and one to stay charged as a backup. No more running out of phone battery at the worst time. My son and daughter both live in big cities without a car. They never leave home without them. Started out great. Charges the phone well and stores easily. After using it fewer than 10 times in a few months, the flip adapter broke off. Now it’s a paper weight. [Update: 10/01/2024] After reaching out to Anker support, they confirmed that the item was still under the manufacturer warranty and issued an immediate replacement shipped directly to me. I received the new unit and it works great just like the original one. I am still a bit skeptical about the durability of the flip connector, but Anker support has been exceptional so far. ... show more

Love Anker products in general but this one is kind of a miss. The first one I got completely died (would not hold a charge at all) after literally only 2 uses. I replaced it and the second one seems to be working better but it still only charges my phone to maybe 60% even when the charger has been fully charged up. It’s good in a pinch because it fits in a small bag so you can take it with you for a night out or something where you might just need a few extra percentage points on your phone to get home. ... show more

Absolutely love how this is and how it fits in my bag and barely quality is great. But that’s expected with the Anker brand. This charges my iPhone 15 up so fast. I do however wish it would charge a complete charge from 0-100%. I would say it’s more like an 80% so I can’t complain. I am considering buying one more as backup. Great value for the price. update April 14,2024 dropped it on blacktop and broke ! 03/06/2024 My update is because I want to warn future customers, Don't leave this power bank in your jeans pocket and then put the jeans in the washer. As your power bank will no longer work.😂 It's a great power bank. It's just me, the custome, that needs to be replaced.😂 Newest update 01/20/2024 Anker, out of the four power banks that I have purchased on Amazon,that only have the lightening connector, Anker is the only one that doesn’t break off! And that is the most important feature for this new kind of power banks. I prefer the power usage to have a window on the front side to see at a glance how much power I have left. But for some reason, Anker refuses to change their style on their power banks. So I hope customers have their eyeglasses,or reading glasses on, when trying to find how much power remains in their own no cable lightening bank, by looking at those itsy bitsy dots on the front of the power bank. But the connector is STRONG so far. It does get HOT also and that happens quite quickly as it charges quickly. So I guess you can’t have the one without the other. Update12/25/2023Anker is best brand of this kind still.The connector (for iphone 12) Anker is still a good product. My lightening connect from this power bank is still attached and working.. But as previously stated, it doesn't last as long as other or as long as my blue Anker power bank. Without leaving this review page, I cannot check to see how much that power bank holds a charge,but it holds more than this one but I have to use a cable, which I now detest as Anker is making this type of power bank. They just need to make one with more power (not sure of the power bank terminology) than this one. I have thought power banks from Anker before so I thought this would be a great product too but no.
