Y’all, I finally understand why Linus loved his blanket. When the package came it was in a small box. I thought there was no way a blanket would fit in that tiny box. Yup, the blanket fit, it’s a twin size blanket and perfect for wrapping up in, lounging and being a bum. The blanket is soft right out of the box. It feels like cotton gauze but not scratchy, it’s soft. Like yummy soft. I’m not sure what’s inside the layers but both sides is a soft cotton. There is no stretch to this since it is cotton. There is no chemical smell either, which is a HUGE plus. The price was great, and the quality is great. It is thick without being too thick and it is thin without being too thin. It would be great for summer and layering in winter if you sleep hot but also get cold. Ladies with hot flashes, you know what I’m talking about. Now I want several in different colors. Would I give this as a gift, nope. Why you ask, well after opening this and feeling how soft and comfy it is I’d claim it for myself. Methinks it’s time to get another in another color and a larger size! Guys, don’t sleep on this blanket. I bet after washing and drying it’ll get softer and softer. For those who prefer a cotton textile over polyester or other synthetics, this could be the blanket for you. The multi thinner layers sewn together allows for breathability but still provides enough warmth during weather transitions especially when paired with a top sheet. (Never mind those minimalists...top sheets feel really nice, especially with this blanket!). The weight is just right, neither too heavy nor too light. The color is true to the photograph. This is perfect as a second layer with my comforter when it's chilly and I imagine it will be perfect on it's own in warmer months. Washed up just fine and became even softer. I like that's it's cotton, and it's sturdy enough that my dogs can't pull threads from it. The color is very pretty too.
