  • Great air fryer
Love my air fryer. Meat is moist and tender and it cooks so quickly (think convection oven). Might take some trial and error to get use to cooking time, depending on thickness of meat, for instance. Recipes and cooking times are quite prevalent online, just google “salmon air fryer” and you’ll see not just cooking time and temp but many recipes too. No need to heat up large oven, perfect size for 2-4 servings. It’s become my go to device! ... show more

  • Great product
I love this product. This is my second one as my wife took the first 1 when we separated. That should tell you what I think about this product enough to buy it twice.

  • Be alert and vigilant!
If you've worked with air fryers before, you should be more " at-home " with the Emeril Power Air fryer 360 Max. Not so, for me. I like the size ( I have the XL model ). It will cook a lot of stuff, once I get the " hang " of this thing. The unit is a handful, but reasonably compact. It takes a few inches more of counter space than my microwave. So how does it cook? That's where being vigilant and alert come into play. So far, 1 ( one ) meatloaf ( 2 lbs g. turkey, 3 eggs, 3 handfuls of oatmeal, peppers and seasonings ), baked at 375 for 65 minutes. It was slightly overbaked, with sticking sides and bottom. Still, very good texture and flavor. 2- 1inch pork chops, air fried for 25 min/side at 350 degrees. Nice texture and tender. 1 mac & cheese casserole. 350 degrees for 40 min. Nice, but probably better baked 10 minutes less. 2 loaves of sweet potato bread. Baked for an hour each at 350. Good ( will try baking at 325 deg ) Finally, toast. 4 slices at a pop. Unit calls for 4:45 for medium brown at 160 deg. The first time, I started the bread on the wrong shelf, too low. I lost a couple of minutes. When the time expired, it wasn't even close to brown, so I ran the program again. After 6 minutes, total time, I saw the bread begin to toast. I let the unit run to completion. My toast was really that! Nice and brown, crunchy, with no moisture inside. The second batch was no better than the first, even though I got the shelf correct at start-up. The toast aside, I think I'm going to enjoy using the air fryer. With no prior experience, using recipes and cooking procedures tailored to traditional baking, I don't think I did too bad. I see the potential for convenience, reduced cooking time, and healthier meals. I've got some learning to do. But then, I don't need to be like Emeril! ... show more

  • My Dad just loves it!
My dad was looking into an air fryer and thought this would be a better option as it could consolidate a few appliances into one. He's extremely happy with this! He's done pizzas, used it as an oven and has begun trying his hand at air frying. It's nice that he doesn't need to fire up his regular oven for something small. The only downside is that the interior isn't non-stick so cleaning takes a little more effort. He doesn't mind that since he's not the most fastidious person when it comes to cleaning. I'm the one who usually ends up doing the cleaning, so that's just my complaint. All in all, a great little appliance! ... show more

  • Okay as an air fryer. Takes for ever to toast.
Works okay as an air fryer but not great. For some reason, it takes about 10 minutes to toast a bagel. Reheat function works fairly well. Not thrilled with the purchase.

  • Cooks great and has great capacity. Hard to clean.
There was a short learning curve to using this multiple use device, but worth the little effort. It has a potential of using the three levels with the three accessories at the same time. However, that's only been done once in our household. One or two levels at the same time is more efficient. Our previous round air fryer was never able to accommodate so much food preparation at one time. With the choice of 12 cooking modes, it's capable of accommodating any food preparation we've wanted. It is used daily, sometimes multiple times a day. It cooks quickly and evenly, making it much more energy efficient than using our traditional oven. The results are nice and crisp, when desired, or evenly cooked and lightly browned, if that is the desired result - depending on the cook mode and level used. Reheating pizza and most everything else is a breeze. Reheated pizza and fried foods come out like originally prepared. We haven't used the rotisserie mode yet, so can't vouch for that function. But (you knew the "but" was coming), it is a pain to keep clean! None of the components are non-stick, so a bit of everything cooked becomes a baked-on mess. A lot of pizzas are prepared in our Emeril Lagasse Power Air Fryer, usually resulting in drips onto the grid and drip tray, which quickly become almost permanently adhered those surfaces. The same happens to the basket and the pan accessories, and to the interior walls. Oh, the drip tray! I carefully lined the drip tray with heavy-duty aluminum foil to help prevent some of the baked on mess. With some preparations, parchment paper in the basket has helped, but pizzas on the grid don't cook well on parchment paper. A non-stick and/or anodized finish to all the metal surfaces would be a great improvement. Until that happens, stock up on a lot of Brillo pads and be prepared to employ some elbow grease frequently. ... show more
