I bought this and didn't know what to expect. In short, I like everything about it. Pros: It is high quality and will not fall apart. Its size - I'm 6'5" and my gf is tall too. There's plenty of room for us and storage space too. It looks great (we get compliments a lot) It performs well on the water It's light. We carry it two blocks to our neighborhood lake to use it. The pump it comes with actually works great. Cons: Sometimes it's hard to maintain straight. People who break the law. ... show more

The cormorant inflated easier than I expected! First time set up took me less than 10 minutes and I’m sure next time I’ll be even quicker. It’s durable and incredibly stable. So far I am very pleased. I did a lot of research on inflatable fishing kayaks and decided to fork the extra buck for this one. Definitely worth it.     • Good for fishing but terrible for rowing
It is not the best kayak. Firstly the bottom needs another adapter for inflation. The oar holders destroy your fingers because they are right exactly where your hands swung by when rowing. So you have to hold oars really out and it is tiring. The rod holders are everywhere too and come in the way of rowing. You can't escape from that horrible oar holder clip... unless of course you cut it off. Lastly and most importantly THIS BOAT CANNOT BE RETURNED... I am trying you find out. How to to do so but there is no easy way... I have contacted Amazon to help ne return it. Updated oct 19 2019 Seller never got back in touch with me. You CANNOT RETURN ... I would never buy this boat. I have miss reduced it to one star... because of poor customer service. One star because it does float. ... show more

    • Sturdy, compact and comfortable.
We had our first trip out in our Elkton inflatable kayak and for the most part I’d give it good marks. Can’t really speak to durability until we’ve used it more, but it is pretty comfortable and for the front passenger there is plenty of legroom. My 6’ tall husband sat in the back and he didn’t have as much legroom because of the seat placement, we may try switching but the directions say to put the largest person in the back position. It does inflate and deflate quickly and it easily fits in the included carrying bag. When inflated and out in the water we did feel secure. The only issue we had is that there are not clips for the back straps on the front seat to connect to and so we had to wrap the straps around the handle and clip it to itself. There should be two additional clips in that position on the kayak body. The seats as they come are not very thick and so we compensated by sitting on life vests for extra padding. The fishing pole holders worked pretty well. I’m not sure the holders for the paddles on the sides are going to hold up, but time will tell. Overall we are pleased with it, it allows us to get out on the water when camping -as a regular boat wouldn’t be an option for us -and this easily folds up and fits within the back of the truck. Tips- allow adequate time for it to completely dry out before deflating and storing away. And keep in mind that because of it’s light weight windy conditions can be challenging. ... show more

This was well worth the money! Well built seems less likely to tip verses a hard kayak! Perfect for my husband and I we even fished off of it! I would highly recommend this to anyone we are amateurs and it was great! Easy to set up and pack away! Sturdy well made material

"PLENTY OF STORAGE: An air tight compartment," MY AIR TIGHT COMPARTMENT HAS LEAKED ALL THREE TIMES I HAVE USED THE KAYAK (THREE DAYS IN A ROW). THERE HAS BEEN SEVERAL GALLONS OF WATER IN THE AIR TIGHT COMPARTMENT AFTER TWO-THREE HOURS OF PADDLING. "BUILT TO LAST: Constructed with a rotomold injected body to ensure your kayak will never crack or puncture and will last for years to come!" I DO NOT SEE AN OBVIOUS PUNCTURE, CRACK OR OPENING OF ANY TYPE. NONE OF THE SCREWS APPEAR TO HAVE SEALANT ON THEM. THE KAYAK ITSELF SEEMS PRETTY GOOD, EASY TO PADDLE AND STABLE BUT THE SERIOUS LEAKING FROM DAY 1 ON AN EXPENSIVE KAYAK..... I WILL UPDATE BASED ON THE SELLERS RESPONSE. THE SHIPPING PROCESS WAS OK AND DIDN'T SHOW ANY OBVIOUS DAMAGE TO THE PACKAGING. RESPONSE 1: THEY OFFERED TO SEND ADDITIONAL SCUPPER PLUGS TO DRAIN THE WATER FROM THE TOP OF THE KAYAK???????? NOT THE PROBLEM I AM HAVING. RESPONSE 2 THEY OFFERED TO REFUND THE MONEY OR REPLACE THE KAYAK.     • Always Bring Your Pump
I was so hesitant in buying this product but it has superseded my expectations. It's very easy and quick to inflate one you figure out the psi meter. It is extremely durable and well made. MAKE SURE YOU ALWAYS BRING YOUR PUMP. Thank God we did. Our first trip out, one of the sides leaked air. We killed over to check and realized we didnt tighten the valve enough. I do find it easier to paddle with inflatable kayak cushions under me. I purchased these separately for like 11. Paddling is easier when you are lifted. Now I just hope it lasts. ... show more
