I use this to whip coffee mainly. An earlier model could not be cleaned easily, and its blades would gunk up. This model can be detached at the bottom, so it is more easily cleaned.

I just needed something simple and it does the job but isn't very good. It only has one speed. That's fine if what I was blending was always a certain thickness, but if you are going from a thin liquid to a thicker one it makes things really difficult. Also, the detachable section kept popping off while I was trying to use it even though I wasn't twisting it in anyway. ... show more

    • Is made in two pieces that will not stay latched together

This thing works good but has a problem. It comes apart in the middle separating the motor from the mixing head. The problem is that the plastic detent that is supposed to hold the twist to lock parts together is too small and has very little holding power. So you'll be using it and it will fly apart while your using it. It works great otherwise. A piece of tape would fix the problem but you'll have to tape it every time you use it if you take it apart to clean it. It was very cheap though and does work good otherwise. ... show more
