  • Very Helpful
Size: 12inch
It works quite well, and quite fast. My only advice is for there to be some options for wheels or harder material on the bottom to make it easier for people who cannot lift heavy things to use it. It's still much easier and faster than a shovel, though, and has made shoveling easier. The battery is quite large, and the machine seems quite powerful. Overall, a great product, and a great alternative to snow blowers and shovels. ... show more

  • Used Twice - Second Time was Better!
Size: 12inch
I live in Grand Rapids, we get a lot of snow and I thought this would be great to clear our walkway and stairs. The snow that fell was definitely half snow half ice. It worked well when the snow was light and fluffy, but couldn't move the wetter stuff underneath. Just kept getting clogged and would just push the stuff around. I'm not sure the 40V one would do any better to be honest. It was only about 4 inches of snow and I think I put as much work in as if I were just to shovel it myself. I'll report back when I have more data. Initially disappointed. Update: It's possible the battery wasn't as charged as I thought the first time. We had a huge snow storm in Grand Rapids and really needed this to come through. There was about 6 inches and it was heavy with a little ice. It chewed it up super quick! I was able to clear my stairs and walkway as well as about 15 yards of sidewalk on two sides of the house in about 18 minutes. Saved my back. Definitely a win. ... show more

  • Electronic Snow Blower
Size: 12inch
This product is easy to use, it is lightweight and what I love about it is the battery operation. I do not have to use gas or worry about plugging it in when it is snowing. I have recommended this product to others to try. I am really happy with how it removes snow. The one thing is that I would like for the battery to last a little longer. ... show more

  • This does an amazing job.
Size: 12.1nch
We received this last week and we were able to clear our back patio off without a lot of lifting and strenuous activity. You still have to use a little bit of your own power pushing the shovel, but you do not have to lift the snow which is a big help.

  • It actually works very well
Size: 12inch
It took a bit to get used to the safety button, it seemed like it kept shutting off on my first use, but with different gloves, on the second use, a much better experience.... I really apprecate *not* having to lift and throw the snow - and it's easier to get to than my larger snowblower.

  • Better than expected
Size: 12.1nch
I own a very large snowblower, but wanted to try something for small accumulations of snow (1 or 2 inches). The description says it will handle up to 6 inches of snow. It definitely will not. It did, however, do a decent job on 3 inches of snow as long as you push it back and forth like a vacuum. Battery life was good. ... show more

  • Does the job
Size: 12.1nch
NO CHARGER!!! BE READY TO SPEND ANOTHER 40 BUCKS does the job fairly well, if you have gravel driveway be cognizant to keep the shovel up. Definitely useful to knock big drifts down on driveway and im sure in asphalt it works well to get to the pavement. The fact it doesn't come with a charger is irritating to say the least ... show more

  • Far exceeded my expectations
Size: 13inch
I live 50 miles west of DC. Last week we were getting forecast of 8 to 12 inches of snow (unusual for this area). I'm 73yo and started to panic because all I have for snow removal is a steel No.10 coal shovel. I don't have the room for a full size snow blower and the shovel worked well for me 5 years ago but we all get old eventually. I went on Amazon to see what was available and came across this electric snow shovel. With amazon prime I could get it delivered overnight for free. Got it the day before the storm hit and charged the batteries. It started snowing 10pm that evening and by 3am I measured 5 inches on my side walk and the snow was still coming down. Not knowing how much more snow we would end up with I got out and plowed the walk in front of my porch and my 45ft driveway but did not do my front walk which is 120 feet long because I live on a corner lot. The electric shovel had no problem with the 5 inches of snow and only used half of the battery life. This was not a light powder snow either. When the snow stopped we ended up with 10 inches of snow. I plowed the additional 5 inches as before but this time decided to give the front side walk a try. Now this was a real challenge as it was over the capacity of the shovel. What I would do is push the shovel into the working face of the snow about 6 inches at a time and stop just before it stalled. Back off and do it again. Keep in mind that this was slow going, drew a lot of current and I was doing this after I had done my driveway. I got to about 15 feet to the end of the walk before the batteries gave up. Not bad. But the real test was yet to come as the plow trucks had not arrived yet. The next day they plowed and I had an 8 foot knee deep ridge of hard packed snow between the end of my driveway and the street. I started to use the old No.10 to hand shovel it out. By the time I got a 2ft wide path cleared from my driveway to the street my will power was gone. Then I got the idea of breaking up the snow ridge with the shovel by driving down vertically slicing off chunks of snow into smaller pieces. Once I had it broken up pretty well I hit it with the electric shovel the same way I did the side walk by driving it in to just before it stalled and repeating. Also I was not taking the full 13 inch width of the shovel but half of that. As you can see from the pictures it did it. And I still had half the battery life left when done. I don't usually write reviews but this thing saved my life. ... show more
