    • I think this is a good deal, but you decide.
I finally decided to replace my electric scooter that I purchased 20 years ago (early adopter). That one was light, but slow, limited range and in need of repairs and battery replacement. I purchased this one reburbished for what I think would have been the cost to repair my old scooter. With that context out of the way let me proceed with discussing this scooter. Item shipped from CA warehouse so I received in 2-3 days. The box had a distinct (cigarette) smell to it, but not the scooter itself. Item was already preassembled with some light scuff marks (attributing to the refurbished status). I did have to adjust the brakes and brake handles and noticed one of the caliper was damaged (cosmetic). I fully charged the battery (might take 5 hours but I wasn't keeping track) and took it out for a spin. I tested mostly in gear 2 and speedometer consistently read 30 km/hr which is about 19mph. I did one test in gear 3 and speedometer maxed out at 45 km/hr which would be about 28mph. Weight is about 43 lbs. I got about 16 miles and 1.5 hours running time with about 20-30% charge remaining. This was on a mix of flat and hilly terrain. Braking seemed adequate to me. The deck feels roomy about 22" with overall length about 44". I will upate if these change after a break in period. Items to note. Item description seemed off (beyond what I already wrote about range and speed) in that the max load is 330 lbs (possibly description max load of 140 is kilograms). This does not come with a seat, but might be easily purchased separately and mounted where the back foot rest is. Using it as a stand up scooter I think the max height would be more about 5"10". The index finger throttle does not allow traditional hand placement of index/middle finger on brake and ring/pinky on grip. A thumb throttle would have been nice. I have gotten into the settings, but do not seem to able to change it to miles from KM. This may be a (soon to be) discontinued model as I went to the company's website and they don't have this particular scooter on their product page. If you look at the fine print in the description here you will see a M4 model number which is there on the website, but specs are slightly different. As others have noted the charging port is under the deck and not well sealed so debris and water penetration is likely. In summary this one ticked off all the boxes for me, but you need to decide for yourself it it meets your needs. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. It’s not reliable and unsafe to ride. Poor customer service. And when I tried to return it, they charged me $180 for shipping.

The scooter when I first got it was great. I really loved it but then nyc pot holes caused the tube inside the wheel to pop and I had to ride it messed up to the fly-e repair shop and when they overlooked the damage caused the fender, rim, and shock absober was damaged and bent so they had to replace it with new parts that does not go with the scooter and i needed to get home so I had jo choice but to accept what they had. Now days riding it and the battery starts to shorten its life and the riding experience is horrible because you feel every bump on the rode because it's a tubeless tire. Now here I am trying to communicate with the company to replace the parts and only having the scooter 4 months approximately and the customer service agent is just giving me the run around asking the same questions. I wouldn't recommend buying this scooter to avoid dealing with a 3rd party on amazon. Buy scooters who ship from Amazon you might get the help you need faster. ... show more

I bought to replace the previous failure of a scooter I had. This scooter does not disappoint! Out the box was easy to set up. Really great features, it’s fast, love the key feature, feel very sturdy and well made, good breaks, torquey and did I mention it’s fast! 3 issues I have or dislike are: 1. the charging port cover honestly is awful. Anything can get in there, no protection at all. 2. Switching the awful km to mph took some time to find on YouTube once you do you feel normal lol 3. The handle bar folding collar is a pain the a** to love back to fold the bars back! Other than that I love this scooter! ... show more

The pin slides off place and it will fold on you while u are riding making it very dangerous to ride also to return this item is 180 dollars

    • It’s difficult to handle
This is my fourth e-scooter, I love the way it looks however turning and the actual riding, changing gears isn’t smooth. I wouldn’t recommend it, there are others with very similar specs; even if you have to pay $40 bucks or so more.
