So I've only had it a couple of days, used for pour over coffee and making tea. The built-in strainer is cool to make tea in the kettle but its difficult to clean out, plus im concerned about residual left in the kettle, ill probably just use the tea pot for tea. First electric kettle ive owned and I really like it. I did not have an issue with the contralls, they may have changed how the instructions are written. The one thing that may be weird for some people is the hotter preset values are from left to right, so if you want to increase temperature using the preset values, you'll turn the knob to the left. But theres a display so its really not that big of a deal. I like how simple it looks and its glass. It also has a small footprint. The base is plastic and feels a bit cheap but that doesn't bother me either. ... show more

Everything about this kettle screams “Cheap trash.” The plastic surface is rough and has visible seam marks all over the place. The base is unsteady and light and doesn’t even sit flush to the counter. The buttons barely work and are the worst combo of electronic and tactile I’ve ever seen. The lights on the digital screen are patchy and dim. It takes an absurdly long time to boil. This kettle is garbage in every single way that matters ... show more

I liked the ability to use different temperatures plus a custom setting. Touch buttons are a bit sensitive. It worked well while it lasted. It suddenly stopped working. Purchased in July 2023 so it lasted a bit less than a year. I’m still looking into other options but it definitely factors into what I’ll replace it with. ... show more
