    • The best kettle I've ever purchased!
Yes, I've purchased many kettles and this one seems to be the best. Not only can you see the level of water inside but it has an attractive blue light which indicates whether it's either heating the water or maintaining its temperature. The other two features I absolutely love about this is the ability to have different heat levels if you're creating different styles of coffee, you'd want them at different temperatures. This has a single button to boil or heat the water at a particular temperature. Once you reach your desired temperature, it automatically shuts off. There is an additional button that keeps the water at your desired temperature, keeping it warm until you're ready to use it. However the absolute best feature is the cap at the top which swings open 90° to the top, allowing you to use the tap without the water splashing on the falling cap. Watch out for this has not many other kettles have this, their caps stop it around 45° to 50°. I've sent so many kettles back because of this. The one improvement that I would recommend is to keep the base heavy; this base is slightly flimsy. However, it works well otherwise. ... show more

I ordered this glass kettle to replace our old plastic one, and reduce the amount of plastic in our kitchen. After several weeks I can say that it works very well. It looks nice on the counter and matches my white kitchen. I use the kettle to heat up water for tea and to pour into a pot for pasta. The water heats up well. Boil full level water in 4 minutes. No seem inside, all stainless steel. It designed very well. Only one thing that it will show scratch out side over the time because black color coated. It doesn't bother me because I care about more health than looks. NO plastic boil!!!! If you get brown inside, that is come from water or food. This morning I went to boil my water as usual and the kettle did not turn on. I moved it to another outlet and it did not work. I only got it in February. I checked the box that I had saved and there was no pamphlet to help me troubleshoot nor phone number to contact as the box indicates, “you are welcome to contact our service at any time.” Well, there’s no number or contact information. I’m out of luck. I really did like this kettle for the short time it worked for me. It would boil and shut itself off so I never had to worry about having to run to turn anything off.
