Bought this for a bathroom remodel. The room is in the basement so not "the Grand Remodel". Needed to put up paneling and trim moulding. It was going to require a lot of nailing, hence this tool. It was great for brads up to 1". Did not try staples. It was quite powerful enough and easy to use BUT it does mean it when it says do not use an extension cord. Our project was small enough to always be near an outlet. We were doing practice runs, and used a standard extension cord and power was lost by half. A heavy duty cord, where power is not restricted may work, but we didn't test. The nailer did not jam at all during out project. This tool is for small projects, not major construction. Worst purchase ever. I bought this item months ago and I am guilty for not using it right away so o was unable to return it. Now, months later, I have a project I need to work on and this machine is not strong enough. The nails don’t go all the way in. Half of the nail sticks out and had to manually pound them in. For the price, this isn't bad. You get an ok amount of staples and nails. The only issue i've had is, unless you put the item you are nailing against a hard surface (concrete, hard wood), it will NOT drive all the way into the wood. I was working on an item that had small legs and since it was standing, when I drove the nail in, it stuck out about 4mm. Otherwise, a cheap tool that does do a decent job.. ... show more

I have air nailer which is much more powerful but each time I need to power up air compressor. Thus want to try this electronic one, just plug in, very convenient, but the power is too weak, even adjust to deepest depth, it won't punch fully into even the soft old wood. Weight is ok.

My first time using a brad nailer. Did come with nails but not the longer length I needed. Used it to fix a drawer that needed bracing. Took very little time to fix. Not terribly heavy. Great product, glad I got it.

While this bradnailer gun arrived as pictured, is easy to handle/relatively lightweight, maneuver and in theory easy to use I have too many problems with how it works. 1. Comes with poor/very little instructions 2. 90% of the time the nailer jams or misfires and will not shoot out a nail, which requires me to stop what I'm doing, switch it off, pull out the nails and re-sitaute them, then turn back on and hope it works. 3. The other 10% that a nail actually does come out it does not go all the way into the surface and I have to use a hammer to finish pounding the nail in. I work with various types/densities of wood everyday, and even the lightest wood (on the highest power setting) it has difficulty going through all the way. I have had this nailer for over 6 months and it's the exact same issues everytime I use it. I will be purchasing a better name brand nailer as this one is practically useless. ... show more
