Everything was intact but one cup, that was broken. Plates and bowls were tightly packed, but the cups are not. And sure enough, one was broke. Amazon does not grant you the option just to return the item in the set that's broken for a replacement. Either repack and return the whole set or live with the one broken item. It’s a beautiful dinner set. I ordered 2 sets so it can be set of 8. Unfortunately, one cup of one of the sets was broken. I have contacted the manufacturer but haven’t received any reply yet.

These dishes work for casual or for fine dining. They are unique in their look and also a slightly smaller size. The smaller size is helpful in not overeating as less food on the plate still makes the plate appear to be full.

The design of the plates are amazing. However the large plates came with a significant amount of scratches on all of them. It was very disappointing. No other dishes had scratches. It really is a let down to get new things that are not in new condition. They have a nice weight to them but should be handled with care. ... show more
