The colors of these dishes are vibrant and fun. I really like that the set comes with extra bowls instead of mugs that no one will use. They seem durable as well. 2 of the dishes came chipped from shipping and we contacted Elama who was quick to send us replacements. I would buy these again!

These dishes look exactly as shown in product photos. They arrived well package with no damage. Each dish has a weight to them, but not too weighty like some stoneware. My only complaint, there is only five colors for this set which is supposed to serve six. I feel in place of doubling on one of the colors (blue) they should’ve added an orange or purple. Just received my dishes today. First dishes I've purchased for myself since my first cheapo dishes in my 20's and some dollar store dishes when my kids were little. Overall very happy with what arrived. There is some overglaze "drippage" leaving almost every dish with an area that looks like it melted a bit, but they are sturdy and pretty. I'd be more picky if I had paid more. Macy's has this set listed at $140 reg price, so maybe I should be more picky. Only disappointment so far is now I wish I had ordered a set with mugs, but I wanted the 6 person sitting. Mugs don't seem to be available as a purchase on their own. Haven't used them yet, will update review if I run into any issues. Came very well packaged, will be saving the packaging for moving purposes. ... show more

Found this dinner ware set. Our 35 year old white stone ware set has dwindled and we have had a hodge podge set for years. We decided to buy new and loved the colors in this set. We like the deep bowls, the shallow bowl as well as the two standard sized plates. The box arrived a little roughed up. I was concerned that there would be damage. To my pleasure every piece was 100% in great shape. I found a chip in one box of small plates but there was no damage on any of the plates? Guess the warehouse guys just wanted to scare us. Lol. We like the 2 different shapes & sizes for different types of foods. Slightly heavy; they are Stoneware. Added edit: We have decided these plates are too heavy for arthritic hands. We like to hold our dishes & eat in front of tv.
