This is our second purchase from this vendor and we've been happy both times. These dishes are great combinatioqn of sturdiness and value. We are not particularly careful with our dinnerware and the last set survived everything except being dropped from a height to a tile floor. This pattern is considerably more attractive in the real world than it is in the pictures. The embossing is very subtle. Mugs are sturdy and have enough room to grab with three fingers.     • Perfect weight!
I have been looking for dishes I wanted for years. Ok, these aren't super fancy or anything like that, but so beautiful! When I had to replace my first set of dishes, I had such a hard time then. Decided to get dishes from the local store, with the idea of being able to replace them as they broke. That was dumb! They broke easily, and the designs changed just enough to be weird. Part of the reason they broke do easily was because they were heavy and awkward, esp the bowls. I was a bit hesitant due to the shape of the bowls, but they aren't super heavy. Yet they do have weight, just a more manageable weight. I love the look of these dishes (the blue, beach style ones). They look like you can dress them up or down, and just low enough in detail to mix and match a bit. And they were packed so perfectly that I'm keeping the boxes (planning to move eventually). I am so excited about these; I quickly came to hate the last ones due to the heaviness. These are perfect :) ... show more

These dishes are beautiful and have a good weight to them. One came with a tiny chip that I would have ignored if there vendor hadn’t sent an email making it easy to replace.
