This is absolutely incredible! I researched a lot before buying. I have a big golden retriever play pen for my Aussie puppy. Got it when he was 9 weeks old. He’s now 8 months and I would like to change his play pen to more of a portable home. He never wanted to be out in a crate. But he Loves this!! It was very easy to put together. Took me about 5 minutes. Tip: Push down on the bottom metal pieces to put together first then do the sides and top. Just like all the reviews said the plush bed is very thin so I had another fluffy rectangle bed on top. My dog is 33 pound, has a long tail and a long body for an Australian Shepard. I bought the 42” first and it’s perfect!! I’m 53 and I actually crawled inside with him and got his 3 staple toy animal friends and his 2 baby blankets. Totally enough room. Love how the material is strong but not too rigid. Easy to clean. Love all the zippered areas. This is way better than a crate! My dog immediately went straight in to explore. More than enough room for him to stand up and move around and reposition himself. It is very dark inside after it zips up. Wasn’t sure how he’d feel about that so I left a light on for him. He’s one that won’t lay down until he is put to bed where there are no distractions and it’s quiet. It really feels like his home. It’s a bit heavy for me but nothing compared to a crate. Very easy to pull across the room and is easy to fold up and move. The 42 does not fit through the doors so I had to fold up to move from living room to bedroom but again easy. Honestly I’ve bought my Charlie so much but this is the best thing Ive ever purchased for him. Now I can easily plan travel to a friends house for a stay over and know Charlie will always have his home. ... show more

This is a well made product especially when used properly. The only reason I gave 3 stars for "Sturdiness" is because almost any dog, if left alone could destroy the crate. We used this to keep a new puppy confined in a hotel room while we slept and we continue to use it as a sleeping crate at home. I would not use this as a crate to leave the dog completely alone in. The kennel is light and easy to put up and take down. We have the medium to large size. The material is tough enough for some scratching and biting, but a motivated dog that is anxious about getting out will be able to ruin it. Our pup seems to enjoy the crate and we leave to larger side zip-up door open so she can enter and leave as she pleases. At night we zip her in and she goes to sleep. This is a really nice item and it's perfect for our situation. I recommend this for traveling with a calm dog. It works great for containing a pet while you sleep or have to shower up and don't want a dog wondering around freely. I would never use this to keep a dog contained with nobody around for any extended period, and I don't think the manufacturer makes any claims that this is the safest, most secure crate. Our pup is a bit over 5 months old now (American Pit Bull Terrier)) and weighs around 25 pounds. I would buy this again and am very happy with it. ... show more

Super easy to set up, comfortable interior, packs down flat. What’s not to love? We have an adult golden retriever and he loves it. It takes the worry out of going to rental properties as we know he will be safe in his crate overnight.

I bought this to replace my dog's solid wood crate because I want him to travel with me. It came quickly. It was super easy to assemble and was very well made. It even comes with its doggy pad that has a Velcro strip on the back so it stays in place. I ordered the color grey and it's not exactly grey but rather a warm grey (almost like a greige). It fits in perfectly with my home decor. I highly recommend this crate. It's sturdy, well-made and easy to use. And of course my dog loves it! ... show more

This crate keeps collapsing in on my dog. He is crate trained and very good but I come home to find it in weird configurations that I can’t even get it out of. I hate this product and have owned big dogs >70 lbs for 20 years who have always been crate trained and have always traveled with me. Needless to say I have used lots of travel crates and this isn’t it. Please don’t waste your money. Keep looking as I will continue to and steer clear of this specific product that has defective rails/structure that do not stay intact to create a supportive and safe environment for your dog. ... show more

This was a nice travel crate for 3 months. Our beagle figured out how to break out of the crate. She would get a nail through the mesh and yank until the zipper separated. Now she does it all the time. We had to buy a metal crate. If you have a smart dog you might want to go with the metal crate.

We really liked this crate. It was a pretty easy set up and tear down. Easily moved. The zippers locking together is great to keep it closed without needing a lock. Only real complaint is that the Velcro can be really tough undo when you need to clean the fabric part of the crate once your dog inevitably makes a mess. We also had an issue where our dog destroyed one of the zippers and the customer service was very prompt to respond and help us out. Recommend this product and seller. ... show more
