I am thoroughly impressed with the new EGO POWER+ 52" Z6 Zero Turn Riding Mower. This machine is both powerful and exceptionally well-built. Recently, I moved to a new home on a 2-acre rural lot, which was overrun with knee-high weeds and stubborn cactus plants. Thanks to its outstanding performance, the POWER+ 52" Z6 effortlessly cut through the thick vegetation in standard mode, making quick work of the task at hand. Even the dense, lush grass covering the septic tank couldn't stand up to the might of this mower. Its capabilities and sheer power left me in awe. Operating this mower was an absolute pleasure. It runs smoothly and quietly, unlike its gas-powered counterparts. Additionally, it offers a unique and convenient feature - an adapter at the top of the mowing blade deck that allows you to attach a hose for easy power washing after each use. Not only does this keep the mower clean and well-maintained, but it also adds to the overall convenience factor. Assembly of the mower took some time, with about an hour spent unpacking it from the metal cage it arrived in. Disassembling the crate proved to be a bit challenging, as it involved dealing with over 20 screws and bolts, some of which were not easily accessible. However, once that step was completed, putting the actual mower together was a breeze and took only around 15 minutes. The assembly primarily involved attaching the seat and handles using a total of 6 bolts. To ensure the mower was ready for action, I charged the batteries for approximately 4 hours upon delivery. The batteries had a 25% charge when they arrived. Following the instructions, I downloaded the Ego app and paired it with the mower. The app indicated the availability of a firmware update, which I promptly installed. The update process itself was quick, taking around five minutes to complete. I found it interesting that the app can serve as a key, but the mower also comes with two physical keys for starting purposes. Additionally, the app provides convenient control over speed settings, with three modes available. Sport mode offers the highest top speed at a maximum of 8mph. Furthermore, the blade speed and height can also be adjusted through the app. One minor hurdle I encountered was pairing the mower with Bluetooth in the app. It turns out that the mower should not be fully started during this process. Instead, a quick push of the power button is sufficient, without holding it for three seconds to initiate full startup. Overall, I couldn't be happier with my purchase. The EGO POWER+ 52" Z6 Zero Turn Riding Mower is undeniably a top-notch machine, exuding high quality in every aspect. So much to say! Delivery was perfect and faster than expected. Assembly was easy, the metal crate it came in was a little annoying dismantling, but was well protected. Came with batteries that were maybe 18% charged but fully charged in under 2 hours. I didn’t buy this over a gas lawnmower to save the planet, I went with electric mainly because gas is a hassle and this is way to convenient. It’s super quiet…. Love that! It’s like a golf cart, you just keep it plugged in and it’s ready to go. Spring has just started so really just starting to mow and do spring clean up. I did get the bagger… works awesome. My grass is not fully in to give a real reviews yet, but I blew tons of leaves from my woods and bushes and the mower ate it up. I’ve been pulling a gorilla cart with lots of heavy stuff all over my property, using a thatcher, aerator and seeder with out issues. I have just under an acre of property and batteries are more than adequate. I plan to update my review when my thick grass comes in and I’m mowing regularly, but I don’t anticipate battery life being an issue. My 9 year old can drive it without an issue, my 6 year is a tad short to be on seat and reach pedals as the seat requires weight to operate. Very happy with purchase. Get the extended warranty for piece of mind. I plan to update this review in the summer after more thorough use. Summer Update: love it!! Cuts great. Batteries are holding up. Every lawnmower will have some cons, I think the only con is that is kind of light weighted as it’s not made with tons of metal like a gas powered might be so it slips a little on wet terrain or hills, but it’s a beast! I tow all kinds of things around my property to… like dragging a 300lb trampoline across my property is no big deal. The bagger is slightly shifted past the left side of the body which is a little annoying so I can’t cut perfectly along a fence (right side has the shoot so left side yiu want to get close to like a wall. Anyway, you’ll figure work arounds. All the pros far outweigh the cons. No regrets. ... show more

Great lawn mower i have a 1 acre lawn cuts with battery life at 25% left in on the mower stripping is now so great but it still cuts clean and the fact that all batterys for ego are compatible is a plus when edging and even better my wife is not affaid to use it! The only down side is the price
