I received if today. I read the reviews and was of mixed opinion on its effectiveness. My Experience: The first thing I noticed was the aromatic smell. I then touched it to check consistency. It had the right amount of stiffness and softness in terms of product consistency. I then applied it, waited awhile and showered. Edges were still laid. Not for my type of 4c hair. It left white residue every time. Everything else is okay.

Doesn’t work that well on type 4 edges but I use to get a soft foundation going then I go over it with another product. Will probably work better in the colder months but definitely not worth it in the summer. Smells really good though!

The hold is so great!! I use this when I do my own Havana twists or when I just do a simple slick back style and it doesn’t fall. The smell is delicious and I never get tired of it.
