  • Battery stopped charging, seller quickly replaced
Color: Green
UPDATE: I contacted the seller through Amazon and they are sending a replacement due to the battery issue. They were courteous and did not give me the run around like a lot of sellers do. Very pleased with the response because I loved this machine when it was working. I have had this vacuum for almost a year. It was great last summer and I used it with no complaints. This year though, it will not charge. I have left it plugged in for days and it keeps a red light and never changes to green. I have tried using it thinking maybe it’s charged but the light is just messed up. Nope. It has little suction and dies after just a few minutes. Very disappointing to have paid so much and not even get a year’s worth of use out of it. Technically, you don’t even get a year’s worth of use because it was used 2 months last summer then stored for the winter. So $160 to use it for 2 months. Not a good deal at all. ... show more

  • Very happy!
Color: Blue
This holds a charge and is easy to use. I can hop out and do quick vacuum. I do take the flat vacuum part off to get the leaves. I have bamboo leaves and ot does pick them up. No trying to get that darn long hose submerged!! The long handle is nice to be able to grab unit and not change poles. Con.. hard to get basket open, but I am sure it will get easier. It is a little harder to control at the deep end, but not bad. For the price, I am super happy with the ease of use and charge it DOES do the job I needed it to do. ... show more

  • Just started using it. First impressions
Color: Blue
I bought the Efurden pool vacuum to help me get occasion debris from my four stage waterfall and it appears to do what I ask. Now my warnings and analysis. First and foremost READ THE MANUAL. I’m an engineer I always think I can just put something together and use it as intended with the help of a manual. WRONG. You’ll save yourself a lot of frustration if you read it first, it’s not that big. Now, with that said, make sure you charge it completely before it’s first use. Be patient. It took nearly 11 hours before it was fully charged the first time. After the first time it will charge faster. Make sure you have the on/off switch is in the OFF position before you charge. This is bit tricky to figure out the first time as the indicator pointer is not clearly visible. Counterclockwise is OFF. When the blue indicator light is lit, it is fully charged, if it’s red it is charging. When ready to use, turn the on/off switch to on (turn it clockwise) and the vacuum will start. You have 60 seconds to fully submerge the vacuum. Fully submerged means the blue indicator light will be below the water line. You need a depth of at least 13” to accomplish this. If the blue indicator light remains out of the water for 60 seconds the vacuum is stop and needs to be restarted. Those are the preliminary things to learn about this machine. Now for its use. I use it to clean the larger two chambers/pools of my waterfall. The 2 shallow pool are not deep enough to keep the machine going and its pretty easy to clean those by hand. The vacuum power is strong enough to get the job done especially with a light amount of debris and sand. It’s not great at picking up leaves unless they are small, but I use a net in this case. I clean the vacuum after each use. This is pretty easy. Just flip the lever to open the unit and the filtration system will pop out. The filter itself takes a little getting use to as it is fragile so go easy not to piece the material or break the plastic frame. You can order new filters through Amazon by going to the efurden store. They are about $20. Opening the door to the delicate filter is a bit difficult as it is held closed by two flexible latches on each side of the frame. Again, go easy and you’ll get the hang of it. Rinse the filter out with a hose; dry or let dry all parts; put it back together; recharge if you’d like and you’ll be ready to go again next time. Overall, I’m happy with the vacuum for what I use it for. I gave it 4 stars rather than 5 because I believe the filter will break sooner than later and I’ll be purchasing a new one. Hopefully this doesn’t happen too often. ... show more

  • Only half the price of my last pool vacuum, but it does TWICE the work!
Color: Green
This is my THIRD pool vacuum. Since they all seem to last about a year, I thought I'd go cheaper this time. SOOOO glad I did!! It out-performs last year's expensive blaster, which died the day after its warranty. After a small problem with the filter basket - which the seller fixed so fast I didn't have time to blink - I am LOVING this little workhorse! Most pool vacuums claim to run for forty to sixty minutes. This one says it'll run up to sixty. In my experience, they usually run under forty. My neighbour is fixing his roof. Every tiny bit of roofing material has blown into my pool. I just finished an hour and fifteen minutes of vacuuming! Got ALL that stuff up from the bottom of my pool! I wish I had had my phone with me to show you all the YUCK that I cleaned up with this little machine today, but it overheats when I leave it on the pool deck. It takes **FOREVER** to charge, but it lasts and lasts and lasts! It picks up everything except the really BIG leaves, and it doesn't like pine needles much, but it gets the job done. I usually go in the pool with it, so I can pull the pine needles out before it sucks them all the way up, leaving more room for everything else. Not that it lacks internal space, but it IS a vacuum and, just like the one in my living room, when the thing is full the suction is less. Fortunately, I was able to have a spigot installed right by the pool that I can reach while in my pool, and cleaning this is as easy as 1-2-3! It can even be fun to use. Don't tell my neighbour - I want him to think I slaved away all day - but in my little 48" x 18' round above ground, I can slap on a mask and snorkel and swim and vacuum at the same time! Cleans sand, leaves, and roofing crud. Easy to clean the large-capacity filter. Simple to put together - and I suggest you assemble the filter under water because it IS large and can hold a zillion air bubbles which get in the way of seeing what you're doing. Does it all for half the price of some of the others! ... show more

  • Works great
Color: Green
I have used this 4 or 5 times now. It holds its charge very well as long as you charge it correctly when you get it. And don’t over charge. It sweeps up most debris in the pool and it’s easy to use. It’s been a huge time saver and helps keep pool water clean. Comes apart and cleans up easy. It does struggle with super large leaves and I don’t feel the basket keeps algae in it. So any super small debris I don’t feel it keeps well. ... show more
