A few days after I got these, I was walking and the left loop from my right shoelace hooked the right hook on the left shoe, causing me to almost fall on my face. It ripped the hook entirely off the left shoe. On the right shoe the steel bent inside the shoe on the right hand hook but has caused no issues. The product is a great shoe it is suppose to be waterproof but if you look at the toe of the shoe you can see where the toe of the shoe is seprating , I don't know what type of glue is being used but I think that it also need to be waterproof also I don't know if I can return them and get another pair it may be past the return date or is there a longer period for manufactor defect period I got these shoes back in June ... show more

Advertised as a hiking boot, but they are about as waterproof as a Paper towel and made about a strong as one too. Barely lasted a month before falling apart. Wich is a shame outside of the poor quality they were comfortable.

These boots were not subjected to any chemicals other then light rain. Worn 20-25 times before the right boot fell apart. Would not buy again
