  • 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Comfortable, Durable, and Perfect for Any Trail!
The Columbia Women's Newton Ridge Hiking Boots have quickly become my go-to choice for outdoor adventures! These boots strike the perfect balance between comfort, durability, and style, making them ideal for both casual hikes and more rugged terrain. Right out of the box, they felt incredibly comfortable with no break-in period needed. The lightweight design means I can wear them for hours without feeling weighed down, and the cushioned insole provides great support, even on longer hikes. Plus, the waterproof feature has been a game-changer—I've hiked through puddles, rain, and mud, and my feet stayed completely dry. The grip on these boots is fantastic too. Whether I’m hiking uphill on rocky terrain or navigating slippery trails, they’ve provided excellent traction and stability. Not to mention, they’re stylish enough to wear around town after the hike! If you're looking for a reliable, comfortable, and waterproof hiking boot, the Columbia Newton Ridge boots are an outstanding choice. They’ve exceeded all my expectations and have kept my feet happy on every adventure. Highly recommend! ... show more

  • Size 12 Woman
Size: 12 Color: Ancient Fossil/Shale Mauve
I recently bought the Columbia Women's Newton Ridge Lightweight Waterproof Hiking Boot, and I couldn’t be happier with my decision! As someone with size 12 feet, finding comfortable hiking boots can be quite a challenge, but these have been a game changer for me. They fit beautifully right out of the box—no breaking in required! What I love most is how lightweight they feel; it’s like wearing sneakers instead of heavy boots, which makes a huge difference on longer hikes. The cushioning around the ankle offers solid support, so even after a long trek, I don’t end up with sore spots or blisters. And let’s talk about the waterproof feature! During my last hike, I crossed streams and navigated through muddy patches, and not once did my feet get wet. It’s such a relief to know I can tackle different terrains without worrying about moisture getting in. Overall, the comfort, great fit for larger sizes, and reliable waterproofing make these boots an excellent choice for anyone who enjoys hiking. I highly recommend them to fellow outdoor enthusiasts looking for the perfect pair of boots! ... show more

  • My new favorite boots
Size: 9.5 Color: Quarry/Cool Wave
I bought these for icy Michigan winters with a bum knee and they are my new favorite shoes. They aren’t too heavy for everyday wear, and have great traction on slick wet surfaces. I can wear them around the lab for a whole day and my feet do not hurt. Break in quickly, no blisters at all. Sized up a half size so I could wear fuzzy socks and they fit perfectly. ... show more

  • Outstanding boots if you get the right size
It took me 5 pairs before I finally got the right size for these. Most Columbia boots run small and narrow. I know this because I own two different types of Columbia snow boots. They are the only brand I wear for snow/winter for the last 20 - 30 years. I bought these assuming they would also run small, big mistake. If you buy the right size, when you put these on, you won’t want to take them off because they are that comfortable. I normally wear 9-9.5 medium width shoes. I purchased a 10 wide, a half size up from my usual shoe size range, to allow for my feet to have plenty of room with hiking socks and because the toes are on my right feet do not lay flat like my left foot. Your toes should not feel squished in any shoe. I got wide because Columbia are usually on the narrow side. My left foot is a medium width (almost narrow) and my right foot is medium width (almost wide). I also purchased Columbia hiking socks which feel amazing in these boots. Quarry is a very pretty grey color with black, light grey and blue accents. Such a pretty color combination. I will be wearing these to walk our dog on the trails in our neighborhood, which I do daily and are often swampy and even flooded in some areas. I was previously using my Brooks Ghost sneakers but too often coming home with mud, wet socks and saturated shoes. We mostly do trails but also mix in some sidewalk walking, so I needed a shoe that would be good on both. I will come back to update my review should they not work well. Super excited to wear them tomorrow on our morning walk through the woods. Update: 2/20/23 I wore these yesterday for a 3 mile walk/hike through trails and on sidewalks walking a dog. They felt great while walking. I did notice that when I took them off, that my one hammer toe had redness from the top of the boots while walking but I never felt this while on the walk. A few hours later and my left knee has some strange pain while going up or down stairs. Next thing I noticed was some lower back pain and pain at the balls of both feet when I woke up this morning. Not sure that I will be wearing these often, maybe only on rainy days, but even then, I am not sure that the pain is worth it. I do have psoriatic arthritis in my knees but this pain is different, so I must have aggravated my knee somehow while wearing these hiking shoes. Debating on returning them because my brooks sneakers work great but I was specifically looking for waterproof and ankle support while on the trails. Update: 2/28/23 I have worn these again and had success, no knee or back pain afterward. Not my favorite shoe for walking our dog on sidewalks and not as comfortable as my Brooks but they are waterproof and are saving me in the trails right now. ... show more

  • Stylish and Durable Hiking Boots with Excellent Traction
Size: 6 Color: Black/Chalk
The hiking boots deliver a fantastic balance of comfort, durability, and style, making them a reliable choice for outdoor enthusiasts. The waterproof construction keeps feet dry in wet conditions, while the lightweight midsole provides superior cushioning for long hikes. The traction on various terrains is excellent, giving confidence even on slippery trails. However, the fit can feel slightly snug for wider feet, requiring careful sizing or a break-in period. Overall, these boots are a solid choice for casual hikers and nature lovers seeking performance and value. ... show more

  • Well made, sturdy and supportive
Size: 7.5 Color: Black/Poppy Red
I am very happy with my boots. I needed to wear them for a while before writing the review. No blisters or sore feet, good value for the brand, as I don’t need to have a brown pair which seemed to be more expensive. They’re perfect and run a little big which is what I needed. Warm, durable, function as a good boot should. I recommend these and expect to have these boots for years as durability will hold. ... show more
