The media could not be loaded. I should have spent the extra 250 bucks for the NordicTrack The Eechelon elliptical shipped with a bent/warped resistance wheel and monitor with shorted speakers. I call and texted with their customer service group. Sent videos and pics. Then they ghosted me no reply’s to 6 follow up emails. I would have settled for a new resistance wheel and monitor. But after being blown off. I called Amazon’s customer service and within 8 hours I had a scheduled pick up for return. I'm old school - still use a flip phone and everything. Was worried this high-tech bike would be too complicated, but it's actually pretty user-friendly! Even figured out how to connect my heart rate monitor after only 3 calls to my more tech-savvy daughter. If I can figure it out, anyone can!

Originally got the EX-8s just for cycling, but I've been pleasantly surprised by all the other workout options. The strength training and yoga classes are great for cross-training. And being able to flip the screen for off-bike workouts is super convenient. But sometimes the class audio is a bit low compared to the music.     • Disappointing on Multiple Levels

I purchased my Echelon 2 years ago and there have been numerous issues from day one. Most recently, the screen just stopped working randomly and a call to customer service revealed that it needed a new screen. Unfortunately, they explained that their warranty was void, since despite purchasing new, it apparently was not through an "authorized retailer". Which I'm not entirely surprised about from a company whose products break within a couple years of minimal use. They did offer me a 10% discount on a new screen, which was laughable at a final price of approximately $450. To add insult to injury, as I was chatting with customer service, the clock struck 5:01 as I was trying to determine a price, and the agent said their shift had ended and they had to terminate the conversation. I just want everyone to he aware of my experience if they're considering purchasing, as this company will do exactly the minimum required and never a step further, with products that, at least in my experience, do not withstand the test of time. A quick Google search will bring many customer experiences that mimic mine. I wish I had seen one before my purchase and subsequent very disappointing experience. ... show more

Okay, let us be real - this elliptical aint cheap. But after using it for 6 months, I can say it's been worth every penny. The build quality is excellent, and the variety of workouts keeps me engaged. If you're serious about home fitness, it is a solid investment in your health.
