This product may not be the absolute best at any one thing, but it works well and in a predictable fashion. I wanted to watch dvds from the UK. I also wanted to have a coaxial output for music cds. This is doing both functions and has the added benefit of remembering your position across multiple disks. If there are multiple TV episodes on one disc this is super useful. For $30 for this and another $100 or so for a Topping DAC I have a great mini system. ... show more

There is only usbc ports on my laptop, that cord was not provided and it does not work unless plugged directly into laptop
