It actually keeps the temperature In the room very good. It Is pretty small but works 5x better than the old metal ceramic heater and the newer tower ceramic heater. I bought this for my outdoor patio to warm our feet. It does a great job of that. I have it sitting on the floor alongside the table. If you need localized heat in a small area, say a12'x12' room maximum, this will heat it very nicely. Pros: The fan-forced air is hot on high! The housing is sturdy, mostly metal. The cord is long enough for most situations. It's a good, small area heater. Best used under a workbench, on a table top, in a small storage room, in the bathroom, small plant room or greenhouse, blowing toward your favorite chair to take the chill out of the immediate environs, etc. It throws out mucho heat for that kind of use Cons: There is no tilt capability. The finger bolts only attach it to the frame. The heater is very small, about 6" in the housing. The ceramic element is only a 3"×3" square. This is not a good choice for a large room especially with a high ceiling a garage. It's simply too small. ... show more

Iv'e only been using this for a couple days, but it works well. I set it on a timer (not included) to run for 30 minutes in our un-insulated garage so my EV battery isn't cold before I leave for work. It's powerful enough to heat the garage w/ no problem, but still small and compact. Like any other heater, I was concerned about over-heating/fire risk when I was shopping around. This one having "garage use" and "over-heat protection" in the same sentence obviously stood out for what I was using it for. That's not to say you should throw common sense out the door, but it's reassuring to have that feature and know that I'm part of the target consumer group. I'm only a few days into it, so I'll follow up if there are any issues. So far though, 10/10. ... show more

This turned out to be just perfect in what I needed at my workplace. I check in cars at a valet garage and I sit out in the open air garage and it gets quite cold in the winter time. We've had some pretty cool days so far and I tested it out and it fits just perfect on my little shelf and the heat is great and it makes it much more bearable to be out there sitting and waiting for the next car to come in. Everyone's taking advantage of putting their hands in front of it and warming up their fingers. So I have no complaints at all. It has a fan or a low heat or a higher Heat and a dial range to adjust those. It does not have much of a tilt to it to go forward down lower or to tilt it upward a little bit more so if I want to change it to not be hitting me in the face as much, I do have to add just a little bit of something underneath the back leg so It'll point down right off my face then. This is the space heater I've been looking for. Not loud, fan forced and heats better than most heaters 2 times its size. It heats my giant basement on low and when I take it out to the freezing garage and set it on high. It will be warm enough to work within an hour. No fumes, like my propane heater. It is a nice little heater, small bedroom or area, however it will not heat a garage or basement. It says 1500 watts. I don't believe it. I have a few space heaters that are actually 1500 watts and they really heat up an area. It's built solid, but definitely not for 250 square feet as stated.

I've owned a lot of 1500W heaters in the $20-40 range and this is the best I've had- it moves more air and does a better job heating a space than any other. It is a little loud, maybe too loud for an office or bedroom. The one I got also vibrates- it may creep around on a smooth floor, but can be held down easily in various ways.
