I placed this camera an inch or so under my rearview mirror, it comes with a rear camera but I did not install that one because my car (2018 Honda civic) already has a reverse cam and the reverse camera included with this is supposed to be screwed on and I do not want to drill into any part of my car. Back to the dash cam, it has a 3.16 inch screen so it's very discrete and not bulky or distracting at all. The image itself is very clear and it can see what a dashcam needs to see i.e. the cars and the road in front of you. You can even see the traffic lights with this camera so if you were to get into an accident, you would be able to show whether or not you had the right of way. You can also connect to this camera via wi-fi with your cellphone. When I did that, it took a few attempts to connect, but when I did it shows you what the camera is viewing in real time, and you can browse through earlier footage with thumbnails in the roadcam app. This was a useful feature but you need to be close to the camera to do this. You cannot view the camera footage on your cell phone if the car + camera are far. The camera is powered via the charging port in the car and a usb cable type plugs into the camera. When the camera boots up there is a chime, I will be disabling this chime when I have some time. The camera keeps the footage in a microSD card it recommends a minimum of 8 gigs but a maximum of 32, I put a 16 gig into it, this card was not included, but that is not a problem. The camera's packaging was nothing out of the ordinary, but then again, I don't want to pay a premium for premium packaging, I wanted an affordable and useful dash cam and that's what I got. It's full HD, it's 3 inches, it works great and it's affordable. It has the added feature of being viewable in my phone if need be so that's a plus. I recommend it if you're on a budget and every driver definitely should have a dashcam; you never know when you might need one. :-) ... show more

    • Very bad night vision does not show a good picture
The day video is ok but the night vision is very bad and you need an external power supply to power the camera.

I was looking for an inexpensive camera for my work car, and this fit the bill. It was easy to install, was able to install above my rearview camera. Packaging was OK. Remember to order a micro SD card, it does not come with one.

The camera is good but only during the day time if you drive at night the quality is bad for both the back camera and front the sticky part of the camera doesn’t hold it for a long time it will eventually fall off I have only had this camera for a month an it’s already broken do not buy this camera! Seller will not respond to messages no matter how many you send ... show more
