I have researched many of the available dash camera units, compared prices, features, customer support, & most importantly the reviews. REXING dashcams absolutely stand out from the rest with no justification for spending more on the higher priced brands. The REXING V2 PRO AI is now my third vehicle dashcam & best by far. It's placed in my daily driver work car, with the others being mounted in a truck & work van. All of these REXING dashcams are consistently used & I have upgraded models throughout the years as technology advances. REXING dashcams are super simple, plus quick to install. They've been extremely well designed, they're built to last, I've had ZERO ISSUES with REXING from day one. Also the eighteen month warranty is a strong indication of how well built these units are & how much the REXING company stands behind their products. This newest model, the REXING V2 PRO AI is my favorite to date, due to the additional features of the built in GPS & Artificial Intelligence. These features easily & affordably modernize older vehicles. The active warning system is simple to enable giving forward crash alerts & lane departure warnings, upgrading any vehicle at a value price. This absolutely gives peace of mind when younger drivers are behind the wheel. I opted for the parking monitor feature which provides additional protection when the vehicle is unoccupied allowing the unit to automatically power up, capturing any type of disturbance while parked. The video can be readily viewed on the dashcam itself, remotely using your phone's WI-FI & the REXING CONNECT APP, or loaded for viewing using the GPS PLAYER on a computer. The HD resolution video with very respectable night vision quality will display with time, date, speed, GPS location, & audio if you choose. Playback viewing of an individual, or all three of the cameras can be a real liability lifesaver in case of an issue or accident. A Kingston SD card or comparable over a Scandisk would be a wise decision for recording quality & the prevention of potential issues with these units.     • Artificial Intelligence is great and it works well here !!!
Before I start my review, let me give you a quick background on the Rexing Dash Cams I have owned before. The first one I bought was the Rexing V1 which I installed on my 2014 Porsche 911 Cabriolet in 2019. The second one is Rexing V3 Dual camera which I am using on my 2018 Audi Q7. I never really had any issues with both of them other than the mounting bracket (suction cup) becoming deformed on one due to the extreme heat here in Vegas. It was easily replaced on Amazon. Although I am very happy with both cameras, I soon realized that the one on the 911 needs to be upgraded when I heard of the Artificial Intelligence feature on the new Rexing V2 Pro. Compared to my 2018 Audi Q7 which has all the latest technology, my 2014 911 does not even have a rear backup camera nor a collision warning or pedestrian alert feature. Guess what? I’m so glad I bought the Rexing V2 Pro AI Dash Cam. I got it yesterday and immediately installed it on my 911. So here’s my take on the new dash cam. PROS: 1. The AI works well. I drove around the neighborhood and intentionally got close to a vehicle in front of me and the Dash cam did alert me of a potential hazard. The lane departure warning also worked when I was on the freeway. I’m sure more features will be added later with future firmware updates from Rexing. 2. The dual camera on the main unit works well with clear pictures on the 2.7 inch screen. I wish that they increase the size of the screen on future models. I like it that there is a camera pointing upfront, another one to the cabin, and another one to the rear (more on this later). 3. Th usual Wifi/Mobile App works well with my Iphone. I just installed my old 64GB microSD card and I’m able to easily manage my recordings from my phone. This device will accept up to 256GB MicroSD card. I have not tested the gravity sensor nor the parking monitor yet but I will update my review once I have tried it. 4. Easy installation and the 18 month warranty is great!!! The only thing is I haven’t figured out a way to mount the rear camera since I have a convertible. I’m thinking of mounting it near the rear plates but I am not sure if this is weatherproof. 5. The built in Supercapacitor on the unit is great for extreme weather like the super hot weather here in the Southwest. CONS: The mounting hardware is my only issue right now. It came with a little plastic piece that clamps to the dash cam. A double sided 3M tape is then used to mount this to the windshield. I live here in the desert where temperatures go up to 115 F and inside the car is even much hotter. From past experience, these sticky tapes don’t work well here. We will see how it performs this summer. I hope they come up with another way to mount this such as a suction cup device or one that attaches to the rear view mirror. ... show more

This is the 3rd Rexing dash cam that I've owned. Only had an issue with the 1st one many years ago and Rexing replaced it without any hassle. Now this camera. It's nice. I love the fact that you have 3 different views. The best one IMO is the inside car view. That would have come in handy a few years ago when my POS wife at the time assaulted me. That being said this dash cam would be perfect for ride share drivers just for that protection alone. Installation was easy and I was able to use the hardwire kit from my last Rexing dash cam. The night vision looks really good. I have no idea how well it picks up backseat action in the dark. Like other Rexing dash cams, the WiFi feature is really more of a Bluetooth and TBH it would be a lot easier if it was Bluetooth. Synching using the WiFi feature is a pain in the ass. First you have to activate WiFi mode from the camera and then search for the camera's WiFi signal on your phone. Automatic Bluetooth would be so much easier. The 2nd drawback I see so far is the front and rear cameras make cars that are a couple car lengths ahead/behind look like they are a mile away. As you can tell from my pics is that the camera isn't as bulky as you would expect. How I installed mine doesn't block my view as 90% of it is hidden behind my riew view mirror. You can tell from the pics is that the camera video is super clear. All in all this is a great dash cam and like I said this is my 3rd one and not because the other cameras have failed. ... show more
